The best that the league can do is to fine and suspend him. He's worth over a billion dollars so any league record fine isn't going to hurt him. And suspending him isn't going to do anything at all. Doc Rivers is basically running the team since he became Sr. VP of basketball operations. The only thing it stops him from doing is showing up to Clippers game and bringing women in the locker room so they can "look at those beautiful black bodies".

I bet he refers to his players as "young bulls" and got tons of video equipment at the crib.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver will hold a press conference tonight here in Memphis before Grizzlies-Thunder game

Popcorn is on deck

Needless to say, the Clippers-Warriors playoff series just got way more interesting with this Donald Sterling stuff happening. We already knew he wasn't exactly a good person, but this just took it to the next level. It'll be interesting to see if this affects the Clips players in any way moving forward in their current series and perhaps beyond that.

That being said, go Warriors! :smokin

They'll just go back to what they were but let's not fool ourselves, if there's money to be made someone will take it. To really put a dent in his pockets the fans have to stop showing up and buying anything Clipper related.
They won't. After being irrelevant so long, they'll continue putting money in that man's pocket even if they went as far as having cheerleaders in blackface.

So will this make or break Silver? Stern didn't really address this situation when Elgin Baylor took up his case with Sterling.

Son.

How are Silver, the Clippers entire squad and staff, Clipper fans and the rest of the league reacting towards this? How is there just not like a mass boycott?

This flagrant racism. No dambs given.

The fact that it seems like so many fans are just brushing it off with the mentality "What else is new, this is who he is" or because he hasn't been fined/suspended before is ******* alarming.

that's not "brushing it off"

that's more like what can you really do other than make some kind of public statement denouncing him?

why would it make or break him? OTHER THAN A FINE AND SUSPENSION HE CANT DO ANYTHING

im sure he will give out a good fine and suspension

Silver has been great so far, i expect nothing less of this situation. he will handle it well and dish out a big fine
