Boycotting after the season is over would be silly.

People have an incredibly short attention span, if you want to make a statement, you do it NOW when the issue is at the forefront of EVERYONE'S mind.

And no, I won't be watching the game today. (which sucks 'cause I wanted to watch Curry cook.)

It would be hypocritical of me to do so after the views I've expressed last night.

Watching the game wouldn't make you hypocritical bro. The players aint gonna boycott right now, it isn't their fault and shouldn't be punished. I think that's incredibly unfair to put them in that position and to hold them guilty for not boycotting. It was Sterling's actions, not the players or coaches.

Probably because she got tired of it, they got in a fight, he dumped her and she wanted to put him on blast? Plenty of obvious reasons.

I don't think they were broken up tho. There relationship was a joke, they had no feelings for each other an 24 YO cannot love a 81 yo somebody probably knew what was going on she got offered money to catch him in the act she's a sleezy gold digger so she accepted.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Doc/CP3 lead a boycott after the playoffs are through. They both seem very upset by this, and DeAndre Jordan as well. If the league can't do anything about it I do believe the Clipper employees will. The fans will definitely speak up, Angelino's are a proud bunch, they're not about to let some old racist guy **** all over them. Players around the league as well seem upset, they will rally in the summer.

They ain't gonna do jack but cash checks. "We play for the fans" that's bull. They play for money and fame and that's exactly why sterling ain't going nowhere. This is bigger than basketball. But an NBA player can't see past playing ball. Nothing is more important to them than winning.

They have a chance to do something historic and stand up for what they believe in. In reality they will keep playing and get bounced in the second round and nothing will change.

I see a combination of a fine, ban and maybe losing draft picks. This is a PR nightmare for the league.

Yeah she could have blackmailed him too. Doesn't change my opinion on him... Couldn't be less interested in her motives

You're all over the place but basically that's your opinion so that's fine. I don't think Sterling is going to be standing pretty for long.

You're also being unfair to judge the players. They don't deserve to be punished for something Sterling did. You're holding them guilty over something Sterling did.

She probably did.. And he probably blew her off

Chicago doesn't have the offense to survive an early deficit. Dunleavy won't go off for another 30. The refs helping them out right now though.

My opinion is they should.

Doc Rivers and the Clippers stand on the precipice of history and they are shrinking away from it.

Basketball is a game.

This is much bigger than a game.

Besides, the zeitgeist will not remember in the off season.

Timing is the most important thing when it comes to social commentary and activism.
