We struck out on everyone else. Had to sign someone, as far as the Knicks front office is concerned.

If he doesn't come here neither does Melo or Tyson. Whether or not that's a good thing is another discussion, but the Knicks had to do something after a decade of being the laughingstock of professional sports.

This game actually improved his efficiency a little bit, he's now scored 95 points on 89 shots this season. So there's that.

You must have missed the point I was trying to make. The Knicks signed Amar'e in 2010 because they were out of options and felt like they had to make a 'big' signing.

WHETHER OR NOT IT WORKED OUT IS ANOTHER DISCUSSION.

I don't think he has the mental strength to adapt to that role. I think he'll continue to demand isos and hold the ball as it moves around the set.

He hasn't shown an ability or willingness to adapt over the years (like Paul Pierce did).
