I remember staying up to watch the NBA Draft when I was in Amsterdam and waking up super early to catch the 2nd half of a few game during the Finals last year and thought I was doing it, but damn I could imagine having to do that on the regular.

First finals I vaguely remember are 1993 , my man Sir charles getting toasted by that dude with the 23 ... >:

Cried like a baby when the Magic lost...

Then mj second three peat , and after that National TV stopped broadcasting NBA games...

Was at a lousy online status as a country (7 kb / s for the fast lines) so no streaming....

Video tapes , and reading was all it was left for the live thing , got any dvds I could down the way...

Slam magazines , only sold in a newsstand 15 miles from my house , in Athens...

Some european magazines with few articles on NBA ...

Internet blew up around Shaq ' s Heat championship , So my connection went HAM....

33 now , and pretty much love watching the sport.

Euroleague , Greek championship , Youth championships from up close , NBA ....
(Playing too when my knees and time allow it , like once a week )

I don't. At this point, there is something called professional pride. They talked all season long about how they wanted Miami. And here they go, getting beat up by a team that tried to fail out of the post season run.

Yeah but... Why? It's not like they stopped playing hard, they just suddenly became bad.

I know Knick and Heat fans inherently don't like the Pacers and lots of other folks don't like Hibbert, PG or Lance... But I never had a problem with them.

Very interested to know what happened.

It isn't all of a sudden, there's something more that we don't know about. They were fine up until March when they fell off a cliff. The Granger trade is part of it but not the whole thing. Either way Vogel is donezo.
