The NBA is not just gonna let Doc, CP3, Blake, etc just leave.
They can't punish the Clippers fans because of their owner.
Doc may retire, but it's not like al these guys will become FA's. just not possible.

Tbh the only punishment really is embarrassment and public shame. I honestly don't think he cares really. He's a 80 year old billionaire. We all know at that age your stuck in your ways and usually care little about what someone else thinks. Now add that to the fact he's a self made billionaire. He has to sell or somehow be removed for the Clippers to have any chance of remaining/being competitive going forward. Every minority player will receive heavy backlash for going or staying there after this.

For YEARS they were a joke of a franchise, and these past couple years they started to get better and get some respect around the league. The get CP3 and Doc Rivers comes to be their coach, and then this happens.

Yeap, I can agree with this. Working on Wall Street, I'm confident to say that most of the people whom I work under are probably racist in some capacity. I try not to let that bother me.
The best way to handle it is to just do your thing and get your money. That's really the bottom line. You don't have to like me and I don't have to like you. As long as we're both making money, it's all good.

I was just talking to my boy about this. Are there really any legitimate Clippers' fans? I would assume a lot of them are people from LA who have the luxury of rooting for two teams in the same city.

I personally have never met a Clippers, Patriots, Heat, Seahawks, Sonics/Thunder fan in person before they started winning. Funny how that works out.
