He owns the Clippers', how do you ban someone from their business?

He owns them independently but the team is under the umbrella of the NBA. The NBA has rules and regulations every team has to abide by. He violated those rules and is no longer welcome under the umbrella. He either sells or the league will disband the team leaving them without a league and no value.

If the NBA ever wants to have a team in Seattle, now is the time. If it doesnt happen now, it wont happen in a VERY long time.

Magic needs to forget all this BS LA talk, teamup with a Seattle group and move them there.

Plus posters like 100027 can finally have a team and stop hating on the Melo and the Knicks so much

Quick question...

Just a thought, nothing to be taken serious...

Does anyone think Magic set Sterling up by paying his girlfriend to record that conversation? He knew once more information got out about Sterling that it would give him an opportunity to buy into the Clippers franchise?

dude on another site did a play by play of how he thought magic set him

seattle is about to have an nba team again. lakers owns la la land.

I would move to Seattle immediately. More money to be made there and no more playing the little brother.

While that's nice in all Seattle is not LA, that counts when it comes to free agency

At this point big brother will turn into neglected stepchild, little brother will be one big brother, and the Kings will be little brother.

Just like no one in NYC gives a **** about the Brooklyn Nets, i'm sure LA only cares about the Lakers.

Move them to Seattle.

His business doesn't "stand-alone" ...it's not like a McDonalds down the street. It's apart of an association. There are governing powers.
A lot of CEOs get banned from their own corporations by their own board of governors.
Happens everyday B.

Need somebody to PS Silver with the Thor hammer.

Can't wait for the game tonight, Blake going to get 40.

The league doesn't have to schedule any of their other 29 teams to ever play against the Clippers. Or let the Clippers be a part of their conferences, draft or playoffs. It doesn't have to advertise the team, share revenue, schedule the team for national games, share TV money or allow any of its teams to trade players with the Clippers.

Donald Sterling owns all the trademarks, leases and contracts, and a huge chunk of the profits, but a part of buying into the league meant giving the league the power to kick you out, if what? 22 of the 29 other owners vote against you? And you get to pocket a billion on your way out.
