IMO the Clippers never belonged in L.A. That was just another weird Sterling move, taking them from San Diego.

I have a serious question. (Not trying to be a **** towards LA or the Clippers franchise)
Should LA really have 2 teams? Wouldn't it be better for the league to have a team in Seattle or Vancouver or something?
I understand LA is a huge city, but having 2 of 30 NBA franchises in the same building just doesn't seem right

Where have you ever seen or heard of an owner of a business or company being forced to sell it but didn't get the money that HE paid for? Never because it's stupid and it would result in a lawsuit if it were ever gonna happen but he's getting every dime he just doesn't get what HE wants to ask for so it will sell less now than what it would have originally sold at if this didn't happen and he had control

Of course Sterling is going to say some $%^& like that, but he has very little leverage or power here. His franchise basically has no value without the NBA and the NBA wants him out. All he can really do is spend a bunch of money tying everything up in court, but I suspect he'd eventually lose. He should cut his losses, take his billion from the sale and go away quietly.

I know it isn't paypal, but do you know the exact terms of the contract he signed with the NBA? Cause I don't which is why I posed the question. When you sign up for paypal, you agree to that happening, how do you know this same agreement isn't in the NBA contract? And yes, like I said it would definitely result in a lawsuit. There has never been a case (that I can remember) that the NBA voted on to remove and owner and sell the team, so I mean that's beside the point.

Why not? If the city is big enough to support two teams, I see no issue with there being two. Guarantee you that two viable teams in LA is more valuable to the league than if one of those teams was in Seattle or Vancouver. Better for the players two. Chris Paul and Blake Griffin wouldn't have nearly the number of endorsement deals they do if they were playing in Vancouver.

There is no legitimate reason why Seattle should get the LA Clippers at this point in time.
Especially now with the way things are looking for the Clippers. They aren't going anywhere and they shouldn't.
