I don't understand how the man has gotten to be at such a level, i mean sure he has been through injuries but his game was never huge on athleticism in the first place . there is no reason he should be NON existent in a playoff series.

Yea lebron has a great team but let's not act like these guys show up every night. Bosh disappears a lot and everyone seems to ignore it.

Funniest thread I've seen on BX in a long time. It was like a 9/10 on Boxden Head execution

Never Forget: LeBron MADE mo williams an all-star

Only because he and Mo were crying for a spot once a spot was open because of injury.

that would be true if those same players weren't doing that for their entire careers before Lebron. it goes both ways fam.

Do you think Lebron has a clear one on one path to the Lane because he doesn't have a atleast 3 deadly shooters around him at all times?
Do you think he doesn't benefit on the defensive end by having Battier, Wade, Chalmers guarding stars on the perimeter until the 4th where he can come through with full energy?
Do you think Lebron doesn't benefit from having two players who can create their shots at will at their positions? and would probably demand a double team on 3/4 th of the teams in the L?

this is where things get mixed with Lebron man, how do you CARRY a team that has two other perennial All-Stars, and over the years has had THE BEST SHOOTER EVER, and a slew of other knockdown shooters.

Carrying is what J.Kidd did, What A.I did, What Dirk did when he closed out a much more talented team in 2011. Lebron is the best player on that squad but he doesn't have to Carry anything in order for that team to be close.

I hear you 100% but when people say Jordan and Kobe carried there teams then you have to agree LeBron does the same.

The Nets and Heat both have a switch in the last 5 minutes.

The Heat's switch makes them unstoppable.

The Nets switch makes them play like the Nets.

NOBODY says Kobe or Jordan carried their teams tho. you can't Carry a team if you have HOF players and excellent role players by your side. Lebron CARRIED that bum *** Cleveland Squad, but MIA isn't that they have more than enough pieces to help a Hof player achieve the success they they now have.

Just because bosh isn't scoring doesn't mean that his presence isn't felt or that defenders are backing off, Wade isn't averaging high 20's anymore doesn't mean that coaches aren't worried about him going off etc etc.

And as far as the Nets, the teams ONLY advantage against the Heat was Brook Lopez once he went out people should have known they had no chance in this series, you take away 20 & 10 and the only Rim protector.... the nets basically became the heat except a 10 yr older version with no Lebron James in sight.

We can look foward to Greg Oden vs Brook Lopez in a 1v8 playoff matchup next year.

I can see if it was 4-3 4-2 but 4-1? Be serious with yourself.

I know you're a homer and everything but really? Just because it's 4-1 it's not a close series? I'm not talking W/L, W/L does not dictate the closeness of the series. Outside of game 1 which games were the Nets absolutely over matched wire to wire or anywhere outside of the 4th quarter? I hate the goddamn Nets but you're making no sense. I understand the "turning it on in the 4th" narrative but be serious. The fact that two people repped you is even worse.

And since when is Brook Lopez the difference here laugh.gif what 20 and 10 season have we seen from Brook Lopez that makes you think he'd average that in the playoffs? A guy who hasn't averaged more than 9 in his career. You might be confusing him and Robin if you're talking about rim protectors. Their scoring was not their down fall.

Except he got the rebound that led to Allen's 3 in Game 6, and the block at the end to seal the win. And averaged 14 points through game 6 of that series. Wade was averaging 17. LeBron was averaging 23.

Or go back to Game 7 2012 against Boston where he hit three 3s down the stretch when that game was still in the balance. Or last game where he hit the go ahead 3.

For all the times yall **** on Bosh, he's been HUGE and you probably wouldn't have any titles if he's not there. Not even getting into the role that he's basically be regulated to a 3 point shooter to open up the floor for Bron even more and allow him to work in the post.

This whole narrative that LBJ is somehow back in Cleveland is a crock of ****. Old *** Ray Allen is probably better than anyone he's ever played with in CLE. Just another attempt to prop this guy up even more when he's already on top of the league. I'm sleep though.

Nets really screwed themselves in the fourth quarter.

Composite scoring in Nets-Heats series:

-First halves 238-238

-First 3 quarters Nets 361-356

-Fourth quarters Heat 133-101 sick.gif

It was a competitive series.

Well considering the whole knick vs Nets thing, Lebron Riders & the fact that K.G & Pierce aren't quite the most likable figures in the L.... you should have known this was gonna happen laugh.gif

Sidenote i'll take Joe Johnson on my team any day the only thing overated about his game is his Contract, if he's gettin 9-11 a year he's LEGIT.

I don't think it's hate, they're just not a good team. They should have left the playoffs with Toronto.

that's the thing there is no nets vs knicks. never was. just two teams playing in the biggest market in the country. they rarely played each other in the playoffs. even before KG and Pierce got there it was the same case

By that I meant his 3 straight finals appearance years from '08 to '10. And ever since then people started right back sellin out about him and discrediting everything he's done. LeBron went through a few years of scrutiny but once he got his rep back it went over the top and everyone loves him. Kobe got his and people still hate him, the only people who generally give Kobe credit are either Lakers fans or casuals that barely even watch.

Kobe's been hated on for over a decade but unlike LeBron he never let it get to him so that's why it's not talked about as much.
