I'm more interested in seeing what Brooks does.
Russ & KD are both playing like garbage honestly. The blame lies with equally with them and Brooks.
KD really out here shooting 8 three pointers a game on 28%, shooting 40% from the field overall and 71% from the line. Tony Allen been guarding the **** out of him but that isn't all him, KD's mental is ****** right now.
Russ? He may be even worse shooting 34% from the field and 18% from 3 but he shoots damn near 8 a game. :x :x
They gotta run more screen action for Butler cause he's hitting. Also make Tony Allen run through Ibaka and Perkins as many times as possible instead of struggle KD post ups or Iso's.
Also more onball screens with Russ and Ibaka who's shooting great right now/is the most effecient player on the team. I'd also just tell Russ straight up to shoot no 3's and get all his points at the rim or the FT line. When you're shooting 18% on that many attempts? The jig is up.
I would say play Lamb too but we know that's not going to happen and his confidence is probably in the wind anyway.

as i see it it's championship or bust for kd and the thunder. (along with heat, pacers, clips, spurs)
anything less of a chip is failure for these guys.

The strippers at Dreams are certainly worthy of thanks (yes LAWD) but Dwight was hurt and unhappy last year. That's why his numbers sucked.

'Heel KD' is too emotional. dude would get ejected from the techs. Think about the last few years, dude been hanging out with wild Russ and Angry Face 'Whatchu so mad for?' Perkins...dude was hella in his feelings. When he tries to be the tough guy, he fails.
Best possible thing he can hope for is Tony Allen being too aggressive and getting early fouls that will open the floor up to him.

He doesn't need God mode, he just needs to go to the rack. He could have 3 fouls on Allen before the end of the 1Q if he'd move away from that damn 3 pt line. You can't win in the playoffs shooting jumpers as Chuck would say. Put Durant and Westbrook in the pick and roll and forbid KD from shooting a 3 unless it's in the flow or on a break. That way he's gonna have Conley or Allen on him 10 ft from the basket to drive or shoot over. Both those dudes should be BBQ chicken for KD.
