35% Usage, the ball is in his hands plenty.
Granted Westbrook is at 39, and then 44 in the 4th quarters which is by far a record.
That's somewhat what the article nobody is reading because they're focusing on the headline is about.
There was a play where KD had the whole side iso'd and post position on Mike Miller, Russ came down and came to his side, he just stood straight up and literally waived it off. The Reggie iso play out a timeout, he was in the corner with his hands on his knees bent over. The first play of OT he actually got easily passed TA losing him on that Perk screen, then still looked over his shoulder and hesitated, TA stole it, sulked down the court and Miller hit that 3.

He is broken.

That's why he out there shortarming FTs. And writing pep talks to himself on his shoes.

But if and when he plays well tonight, Tramel will take all the credit for his headline having inspired him in some type of way.

yall singling out plays when the entire approach to OKC's offense flawed. You don't have those plays with a better scheme and approach

kobe never had problems with actually getting the basketball

when has KD ever yelled at anyone to give him the ball?

hes like the abused girlfriend that always complains about not getting any respect but wont speak up for herself

you dont watch OKC basically

never the players fault

always on the coach

or scheme

or timetraveling DPOY rewriting history books with his defense

or ball hog teammate

nope, cant be KD stinking it up in the playoffs! thats impossible! KD IS RELIABLE!!!!

KD needs to add a few more pounds of muscle and OKC needs to put one more scorer on the floor. You can't get a guy open looks when he's getting bruised up by Tony Allen and you have 2 dudes that are anemic on offense on the court as well (Perkins and Sefolosha).

getting kd open looks?

remember back in the day when great scorers were supposed to get themselves good looks?

or he can be moved into space as the pick n roll ball handler like he did (unstoppably so) the entire first half of the season which is why he's winning the MVP title

The offense was just as flawed in January when he had his streak of huge games as it is now. KD just playing with his tail tucked and Scott Brooks not doing him any favors

Clippers gotta make sure that they don't blow their assignments and make sure they jump curry whenever he's playing pick and roll ball. Especially when he's going left off of those screen rolls. He loves that shot. Continue to jump out and show when Curry and Thompson are coming off curls and screens. Clippers (BG and DJ) have been good at containing Thompson and Curry off screens, hopefully that continues.

Oracle is waiting to explode, gotta dilute that crowd as much as possible by being sharp, no bad shots or turnovers that could feed into cheap 3's.

The Pacers are finished. It's over. I have no reason to believe that all of a sudden they'll be successful tonight. The issue here, is that this is a flat out bad matchup for Indy, this goes beyond indy's bad play. Even if Indy were sharp, they would have trouble with ATL.

Memphis ends this tonight too. TA isn't going anywhere, and he's taken KD completely out of this series. That won't change just because this is an elimination game. Him and Russ have the ball all the time, and this is a make or miss league. They make shots, they win. They miss, they'll lose. It's that simple. There's no schematics that'll save OKC, especially this late in the year.

How is Durant going to go for 40? Is he going to magically make all of the shots he was missing with the same guy guarding him?

Like I said...if OKC wins this game tonight, it will not be because of Durant going off.

explain the just as flawed part? literally every single player's production went up

OKCs offense isn't much different between now and then. You think Scott Brooks was a clipboard casanova in January, and just suddenly forgot what he's doing?

NOPE.

KD just out here not playing well. It doesn't help that Brooks is lost, but ultimately it's on KD to score.

I'm saying

My eyes may be deceiving me, but when I watch the Thunder play, they run sets that get KD the ball at the free throw line...err it's supposed to at least. Scott Brooks can't help KD if he can't hold is position, and as a result is catching it 30 feet away, and having to play with the ball in front of tony allen that far from the hoop. Scott Brooks isn't shooting these wild contested 3's. Scott Brooks isn't missing, flat out.

just saying ****
He wasn't playing Tony Allen every game during that time period though.

doesnt matter. TA is bothering him through physical contact. Serge is a very good screener which is what they did the first half of the season. and if the defense adjusts to serge/KD, KD passes the ball to the open man. rotate until the best shot is available.
