Gotta say, even though not really basketball related, I would take these last few pages over player A v. B, is Melo a superstar, T-Mac appreciation, etc. any time.

Lot of regs in today instead of the usual riff raff.

All we need is Mike to misspell something and JA to essay a Mavs post and it would be 2008 all over again.

Complete with Tony Allen dominating Kobe. :pimp:

or 5 pages about how Tony Allen could shut down every NBA superstar who ever lived all in the same game  if he needed to

Just watched LeBron's game 6 against the Celtics, KD needs to be every bit of that tonight. You could see it in Bron's eyes he wasn't going out like that, TOO much was at stake. I'm actually disappointed I've been calling KD the best player in the world this year, my apologies to Mr. James. KD needs to stop acting like a lil ***** and go for at least 40 tonight, along with 8-10 rebounds and 5 assists.

Russell is my favorite player, but he has to take a backseat tonight and let Durant be the alpha male. At this point, it's not about Russell's legacy, but KD's.

JA to essay a Mavs post
"Here are seven paragraphs on why Samuel Dalembert is an elite center."
I seriously miss JA posting here

whenever he does post about the Mavs, I still get the same reaction when I start reading the essays

Derek Fisher is getting the Lakers job

I hope so.

I want his hiring to temper expectations for a year or two while they shape the roster post Kobe.

This.

Plus I would love to see Coach Fisher run a layup drill :smokin

back on topic, i don't really wanna see KD kicked out this early, i have no problem seeing another LAC MEM series..... :pimp:

If its any consolation, we still have BHZ posting (somewhat shorter) essays about the Grizzlies and stats supporting the theory that Mike Conely is the best, most clutch player in the NBA.

Well to his credit, he's cut into how long those Grizz rants used to get. And he doesn't go back and forth with anyone anymore  only Ches maybe.

They only praise it because he's doing that stuff to Griffin, who a lot of people hate.

Doc Rivers was blindsided by questions about coaching the Lakers. Shook his head. "I'm the Clippers coach. I'm not even going to go there. "

I wonder if people would have even asked Doc about coaching the Lakers if it wasn't for the Sterling situation.

I talked to bigmike about that on Twitter. I told him to come back so we can start the arguments back up. Even Chester doesn't argue with me anymore because Zbo usually murders Blake Griffin when they play to put a smile on his face.

How many years have people been saying this though?
They've been saying it for awhile, but it's also been shown that their playing relation can be quite successful. As for the alpha thing, if someone has to let you be the alpha male, then you're not the alpha male.
