Exactly gasol gets most of his points facing the basket and the grizzlies don't have a 2 guard who needs a great deal of defensive intensity on him. I'm glad Perkins wasn't useless though as they ran some plays for him where he had open tear drops. I like Adams playing though he hustles, sets good screens, plays hard, and is more use on offense not to mention his defense today was just great. Jeremy lamb needs some burn but I'm glad he's playing Reggie more ever since game 4

Brooks killed lamb's confidence in the 2nd half of the season when he started toying with his mins.. But the thunder have had spacing issues for years in the starting unit, because teams don't respect thabo's shot and they just don't care about Perkins

And brooks tried to make lamb the combo guard off the bench like harden was (which was forced to happen because maynor went down.. He just flourished in that roll)

Reggie is a better fit for that combo roll and could have moved into that spot when Westbrook came back.. Backup both guard spots and give teams different looks
