When Gerald Green came out of HS, he was not expected to be an average/below average NBA player, so coming out of HS, I think it's a fair comparison. The HIgh School version of Gerald Green and the high school version of Wiggins is indeed very similar.

I've now watched Wiggins a few times and I wouldn't be surprised if he struggled a bit on the college level and the NBA level. His ability in the half court is less than stellar and that for me is always a red flag because if you can only get off in the open floor then your ceiling is pretty low. (Not saying Wiggins can't improve or that he has a low ceiling, but I haven't seen him actually display "game" in the half court)

He's already an average shooter, so what will happen once guys more athletic (college) are in front of him, and when longer, more athletic guys are in front of him? (NBA) It'll be interesting. I don't think he'll be a bust, but he'll have an underwhelming freshman year and I don't see him going #1 in next year's draft.

Wiggins got way better handles than gerald green, gerald green was just a raw athlete in high school no basketball skills

Didn't have enough money apparently, Nate had a good relationship with Thibs. They had to replace Marco which is why they signed Dunlevey. They figured with Rose coming back, Hinrich still on the books, and a good summer league from Teague, Nate was expendable.

My issue with Rose is his fans / supporters, dudes prop that man up like he does no wrong and walks on water, and as soon as some judgment is thrown his way they run in with the " >: "

Dudes hyped it up the first game, talking about over / under on 30 points while he's out there strugglin, dudes talkin about preseason when son out here strugglin, dudes talking about he worked on his shot / 3pt and it's a wrap while he's out here strugglin.

He's rusty, fine people come back differently, give him 20/30 games at least, if he's still playing like ****, Welp.

Naw, dude was definitely trying to throw some shade on some "we're above them type steeze".

While I'm enjoying some Bulls fans getting a little dose of reality, I'm also not as thrilled as some that Rose is struggling.

Mostly because he seems like a decent guy and I don't actively root against players (unless you're Paul Pierce and obviously deserve it). Some of you sound ridiculous that you're so happy he's not doing well. He's struggling, but it's clearly temporary to me. I didn't pay attention to preseason or whatever comments he or fans made because that's not what matter.s On the court matters and I always figured he'd need some time to get back up to speed.

I have no doubts he'll get there and when he does he'll be just as dominant as he was before.

Yeah but the Bulls have done nothing against Miami so the Heat aren't their rivals either.

Basically he's looking ahead to the Heat when the Pacers A. Look much better than Chicago right now, B. Put up a way better fight against Miami than Chicago did.


I think most people here are enjoying Rose's struggles just because Bulls fans are SO delusional about how good he is. They seem to have forgotten they got washed by Miami when the team was healthy.

Rose can become a better point guard, but that will not happen until the front office puts a legit scorer around him that can create his own shot.

nah he was on thibs bad side the beginning of the season but he was 100 with thibs.. thibs was the only person backing up the nates signing in the offseason & was prbly the only reason it happened

him not coming back was all about the bulls cheapness & nate's lust for security(a 2 yr deal)

Hopefully, the team will be pissed about blowing the game in Orlando last night and will come out playing really hard. We obviously have no answer for LeBron, but hopefully we can keep everyone else in check for the most part. Still, I have a bad feeling we're going to see another double digit Heat win.

By they way, our schedule through like the next month is !@#%ing brutal. Only 10 out of 25 games are at home and pretty much all the games are against playoff quality teams. I guess the good news is we're going to know pretty early how good this team really is.

chris paul seems to usually have good bounce back games, if he can roast chalmers early and get one of miami's wing guys to defend him it will open the game up for the rest of the guys. no one can stop lebron but barnes and dudley are decent defenders that have the size length

Chris Paul himself couldn't get 8 assists on the Bulls right now. The first half alone there were 3 gimmes, 2 right under the basket, one open 3. It's up to Rose's teammates to finish.

The hate is funny. I'm not even mad though cuz it's impossible for a former Mvp his age to continue playing this way. Eventually, Rose will get right.
