i too had my doubts on bledsoe. didnt ever think he would avg 21/4/7 in a 6 game stretch based on his play when cp3 was injured

Y'all hype players so fast.

Why in god's name would that Cavs team been fun to watch?

I was thinking I was the only one with that reaction.  Dajuan Wagner and Ricky Davis?  Uhhh count me out.

"Darius Miles too"?  Are we living in an alternate universe where these guys turned out to be good at basketball?

Wagner's downfall had nothing to do with his ability.

100027 has no idea what he's talking about...

I'm sorry, what? Tell me how Darius Miles proved he was a good NBA player. Tell me about Dajuan Wagner's long and exciting career. Tell me what is good about Ricky Davis (one of the lowest IQ players of the decade).

I'm saying..

You compared Dajuan Wagner to Greg Oden, why would you compare the two?

Apples and oranges when it comes to injuries.

And the other two players mentioned were Trajan Langdon and Carlos Boozer. Man...please let me relive such greatness.

Jumaine Jones too. Those guys used to have dunk contests in pregame layup lines every night. I'd watch. :rolleyes

Dajuan Wagner had incredible high school promise but ultimately made no lasting impact on the NBA due to injuries...

That's the comparison.

And, public service announcement: Darius Miles was never close to being a good NBA player, the fact that he wore a backwards jersey on a SLAM cover doesn't change that.

Health and Injury is part of a players worth. Unless we're talking about a freak accident, the player was injured because they physically didn't have what it takes. The "what if" game is pointless

d miles was just a knucklehead and never got the playing time he deserved
Nah, he was a classic tweener who didn't have a position in the NBA.  Athletic freak, but couldn't shoot and wasn't big enough to play 4.  And yeah, not super high IQ as well.

There have been a hundred guys just like Darius Miles who have washed out of the league, he just got on the hype train at the right time.
