People been writing off Deron for the past 2-3 years though.

While some think D.Rose is the best thing since sliced bread.

don't see the correlation.

Because a simple search on here will reveal a considerable amount of people still engaging in the CP3 vs. Deron Williams debates even last season

And the correlation is that certain dudes seem to get passes on here.

Well he's kinda got a point with the fact that I can't really think of one truly memorable Durant game.

Memorable in terms of what?

34, 15, and 5 against San Antonio in the conference finals wasn't memorable?

52 and 9 against Dallas wasn't memorable? 

47 & 18 on Minnesota wasn't memorable?

Does he have to score 85 points including the game winner for it to be considered memorable?

i honestly dont remember any of those games other than the playoff one but even then lebron would get a statline like that literally every other game in his cavs days. the most memorable durant game for me is when he dropped 51 (i think) on some team (dont even remember who) while westbrook also scored 40 and i only remember that game because of the total him AND westbrook combined for. maybe people are just spoiled from all of lebron and kobe's big games kanyeshrug.gif

oh and the fact that he has 0 personality doesnt help his case but that has nothing to do with basketball so i left it out

just looked it up, he needed OT in both games to get to 50

when did i ever say kd was trash, personally i dont recall any HUGE games from kd thats all. im sure he has had some but they're not memorable to me. rather than misspelling my name like a 5 year old, please add something to the conversation

i wanted brad stevens.. coach k is my pipe dream.. but at this point i would be happy with datz or any thunder fan on here, at least we would realize the following:

1) thabeet, hasnt played in a game all season.. maybe last night wasnt the best time for him to get 14 mins.. i get perkins and subsequent ibaka were out.. but ibaka didnt get tossed until the very end of the 2nd and thabeet got mins before then

- our "bigs" spots should have been handled by adams, collison, kd and PJ3

- btw, steven adams only got 21 mins (collison only got 20 mins, but at least he had 5 fouls).. thabeet doesnt jump during a 'jump ball' at 7'3 and he gets 14

2) ryan gomes has played 6 mins all season (which came in our blowout loss to the twolves).. and when brooks has to decide who should start in place of ibaka for the 2nd half.. does he go with collison who is always one of the first guys off of the bench for that spot? does he go with PJ3, who had been playing well up to that point? does he slide KD over to the 4, and insert reggie or lamb into the starting lineup?

nope, he goes with ryan gomes who has 4 fouls and a turnover in 6 mins

3) then he thought it was a bright idea to go with this lineup in the 4th (where we started out the quarter down 5): fisher, thabo, reggie, collison and thabeet

yep. dude has a weird knack for being able to score. his jumper got a million times better this offseason. still needs to cut down the TOs. he might never been a top tier PG, but bottom 3 was garbage

the whole notion of lin being a "horrible" player or not nba material was and is complete nonsense. he's been in a league for a bunch of years. you don't do that by being a horrible or subpar player like some idiots here have professed. it's not even a weird knack for being able to score. he just scores

he's a decent player with good enough skills to warrant a spot on most teams. his success hasn't been a sham at all and while linsanity is well over and done with the kid has ben able to provide himself with good minutes on a team that already has players in his position
