IB4 Asik for Anthony Bennett

Just noticed Taylor Griffin's on the same D-League squad with Steph and Klay's brothers.

They might as well contact the Knicks and see if they can acquire superstar Chris Smith.

anywhere to watch this or the pregame show where Chuck went in about Matt Barnes. Had too much going on last nite and missed both segments...

The first Inside The NBA pre-game/post-game I've completely missed this year but I'm glad I caught this, Chuck :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

I couldn't have put it any better, I'm not even going to spark this debate because to an extent it's pointless, but I'll just say there's a fine line between n*gga and n*gger... an I will not tolerate anyone, especially a non-black individual, trying to tell me how to use the word outside of the workplace.

An to some of you NT Mod's, I'm looking at some of you dead in the eye, the majority of ya'll are intelligent/smart enough to know when someone is using the term in a degrading way or just in their natural flow of speaking... a lot of your suspensions/warnings are left up to you guys interpretation... fry the bigger fish.

Rockets would do well to trade Asik for a perimeter defender who can guard 3s/4s.  Defensively they're very weak against that position,  Melo going off for 40+ last night was only the beginning of what we'll see all season.  KD, Raul Jorge, and Lebron will go off in a similar fashion against them as long as Parsons is the guy that has to guard them.

I actually laughed on that one. It's actually disgusting how with so much money being thrown around how the saying -- it's in who you know applies, when there could be more deserving players in these roster spots...but they want to keep the bigger name sibling happy.

You think someone will give up a 1st for turner?

And I really wonder what teams will offer him this summer

He's averaging 23 and 6, legitimately might be an All-Star this year and is only 25. Yeah, we're definitely getting something decent for him.

Actually, Jason Smith and someone else for Asik sounds much more realistic.

Smith is a little less rangy (but still a "stretch four"/even five, little better defending Anderson, so the Rockets would get the same sort of player.

yeah. rockets won't look for a 1 for 1 deal. definitely need to get 2 players bike. a 4 to start and a backup role player. the bench lacks a scorer and a true defender

Asik for Biyombo and Ramon Sessions works... Big Al gets to move back to the four spot

Marcus Morris and Channing Frye for Asik possibly?

The last one I can think of is Derrick Williams + Shved for Asik

(Minny would have +$20M attached to the five spot

Asik's main issue is that he proved he that he was a starter last season and doesn't want to be a reserve. So I doubt he'll be on board going to teams that already have established 5's (Charlotte - Al Jefferson, Minnesota - Pec).

Doubt PHX wants to split up the twins either.

But Blake/Steph/Klay brothers are all legit better than Chris Smith...and on a level where they belong right now

mchale didnt even play asik a single minute. i know dude wants out, but he can still help the team all while being disgruntled. might as well bump that trade value even more
had the longest consecutive gms streak going in to last night, until that DNP-CD

Except if he gets injured. That's probably why they don't want to play him at all. Teams already know what they'd be getting with Asik. A few more games for the Rockets won't increase his trade value significantly, but it could decrease it a bunch if he got hurt.
