We got hill for fisher so I'm absolutely happy with everything he brings

Dude hustles every night and has been doing it for the past couple seasons.

If im woodson im saying f it and give amare 25-30 mins a night, if one of the highest paid players on your team thinks he still got why not throw him out there, woody has nothing to lose

I agree. Can't "save" him for later if he's got nothing left anyway. They might as well find out for sure. Like Amare said, you can't really tell if he can actually play anymore from just 5 minutes a half.

so hes basically getting the asik treatment or is asik gettin the amare treatment ?

J's: Woody is capping Amar'e at 10 minutes per night. How would the Wiz handle his knees?

I would only pull the trigger on the deal if the team continues it's downward spiral. Amar'e says he can play more, so you might just have to trust him on that one. Goodness knows it might be a skewed perspective about how to handle him from the KNicks FO POV.

Why would Washington want Amare?

He's an expiring next season. If you are tanking this year it's sorta a win-win...

Exactly.

Washington is tanking? I thought this was a "We're making the playoffs" year for them. Or have all the misfortunes so far changed their outlook?

Been reading Bill Simmons book and it's got some pretty entertaining quotes so far. Here's one about when he was pictured as a six year old with John Havlicek:

">I considered myself a member of the Boston Celtics. This spawned my racial identity crisis in the first grade, when I gave myself the Muslim name "Jabaal Abdul-Simmons." …my favorite sport was black, my favorite player and favorite comedians (Redd Foxx and Jimmi Walker) were black…it pissed me off that I was white. So I made my first grade teacher call me "Jabaal," and wrote "Jabaal" on my homework and tests."

kobe back on the court again

kobe kobe kobe!!

I think they're on something where he can't play back to backs.

Why risk long term injury? It's not worth it...

That was kind of my point above. There may be no "long-term" with Amare anyway, regardless of how much he plays now. He may already be done physically.

Yea he's not there long term but if the docs say cut his minutes and don't play him back to back. Why go against that?

There's life after basketball...

There is time to turn it around, that's why I said "if." Playoffs are still the goal.

A change of scenery might be the only way to save Jan Vesely. Most are ready to label him a bust. I'm not quite there yet.
