I thought the Clippers were actually better than the Grizz this year, but now I don't. Memphis consistently dominated inside (just like they did last year in the playoffs). I don't see why that would stop come playoff time if they matched up again in the playoffs. Until the Clippers get someone that can battle with the Grizz bigs, they will probably lose. Memphis is now the "bad matchup" for the Clippers along with the Warriors. That's 5 straight times Memphis has beat the Clippers and I think they've beat the Warriors 10 straight times?

This Grizz team confuses the hell out of me this year, though. I still don't know how good/bad they will be, but they are not worse than last year. Last year, the Grizz had a Dooling, Bayless, Pondexter and Arthur in their 9 man rotation. 2 out of those 4 were worthless last year. Now, they exchange Dooling and Arthur out for Miller and Koufos. They have a much better bench overall. My concern is not even the bench, its the starting combo of Allen and Prince. Grizz management/coaching staff have to find a way to move one or the other to somehow get a two way player (preferably move Prince).

I think the additions of Kufous and Miller make them better overall than last year. They got off to slow start, but they'll be fine.

And I actually thought our bigs competed more evenly last night than in the playoffs last year. Griffin's foul trouble was the problem. Once he got his 3rd, he pretty much couldn't guard anyone anymore and that's when Marc really went to work.

Hawks are a good team. I think they'll get close to 50 wins and will most certainly finish ahead of the Knicks and possibly Nets.

Definitely wasn't a good hire in my opinion, George Karl would have been a way smarter option
This. George Karl or dare I say, Jerry Sloan?

Sidenote, when is duncan going to retire? I think he can be a really good coach in the NBA.. s***, I wouldn't mind him coaching this rockets team

Whoever said Jack/Landry being gone would hurt Golden State was telling lies.

They can play with ANYONE this season.

As for my Nets and Knicks and all other Atlantic Division teams, no one is running away with the division currently. No one team is more than a game out of first.

My man Tmac had me after calling Danny Green, Gerald Green

I guess, but they have no chance of actually winning the East and if they were in the West, they'd be more in the 7 to 8 spot range

NBA All Star 2014 Ticket Central. Only BBVA Rising Stars Challenge and Jam Session tickets are out. I went ahead and grabbed some lowers to the Rising Stars Rook/Soph Challenge. 77$ total for 2 lower levels, can't beat that. If I decide not to go I can easily get that much back. I probably should snatch up more to resell looking at how much they are listed for on 3rd party sites, but that'd be kind of douchey to do

Might as well do it. Tons of douches already resell. What's one more?

Western conference as whole>

I have a feeling whoever wins the East will take it again this year. Hopefully Indiana :pimp:

*edit - I agree its been awhile since the last time the East dominated the West. The thing is Miami and Indiana alone can take on any 8 teams from the west in 7 games though.
