easier said than done in the east.. toronto is currently 4th in the east with a 6-7 record.. thibs is still going get that group to a 500ish record (they did finish 8 games above last year)

i know teams would love to have butler, because he's cheap (i'd love to get him on the thunder for a pick and thabo).. noah if healthy.. then deng is an expiring

then if they're rebuilding, then dont want to give up picks.. so they're stuck with booz.. taj's deal isnt great

Amare Stoudemire will make 23.3 next year, Joe Johnson will make 24.9....Kobe who is on the back end of the his career coming straight off of injury will be the highest paid player in the league for the next two years. I dont want to call it the worst contract in basketball cause of so many factors: It being the Lakers, it being Kobe, its only two years, but an argument can be made.
