OKC is literally in the middle of nowhere, when Russ and Kev bounce, you're left with drafting and trading - trying to get the best player possible.

The owner of your team is so greedy, he let Harden go for chump change...if that's any indication of what OKC's going to do in the near future, you can kiss what is known as OKC Thunder goodbye.

Post that video of Dion Waters dunking on Birdman again, after you get done throwing stones from your glass house, which is of course dilipidated, hollowed out, and burned half down.

Harden trade was a terrible trade, I agree. He still had another year left of rookie scale, after which he would have been restricted. I would have let them go at it again one more yr. Kendrick Perkins, obviously I would have been amnestied. Bennett and Presti like to pretend like they are in the poorhouse, and everyone, the fans, the media eats that **** up. He claims we'll go into the tax someday, "when the time is right," but if keeping the best shooting guard in the NBA isn't the right time, I doubt it ever will be. We do have a 7mil TPE from the KMart sign and trade, probably will use that at the next draft and dip into the tax, could absorb somebody like a Wes Matthews into it.

Out west it's not like they're the favored team to make the finals. They're a contender but much like the other contenders, are deficient in an area or two

Now if they barely make the playoffs and get embarrassed out of the first round then yeah, that would disappoint a lot of folks

Like every year, most will overlook them as true contender then close to the playoffs, the media will begin to list the almighty "darkhorse contender", then its up to them to see what happens come playoff time. Just like every other team in the West, they can lose in the 1st round or go all the way to the Finals. It's really just all about the matchups, that's why its so hard predicting a winner out West. OKC was suppose to be locked in for the next 3-4 years, but the uncertanity of Westbrook + no true 3rd scorer changed that.

The West will be even harder to predict this year because no one can really say OKC is the favorites. This is actually the first season in like 2-3 years that the majority will say OKC is not the favorite. I think you will hear about at least 4-5 teams making the Finals this season, realistically.

So, quick question....when the Spurs big 3 decided that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together , in what order did they sign their first extensions? I'm just wondering because I'm comparing them to OKC being able to compete KD, Russy and Harden for 10+ years. I know the CBA may have changed some things, but did the Spurs big 3 take a pay cut as a whole?

They also have NO's draft pick which I think will be 7-15 which is also great.
