I was all on this guy when I saw him om youtube with the uncle drew and the highlights, but if you watch him play in real games he looks like ur basic street ball player. He obviously grew up in the And1 era lol
Alot of players in the league are your traditional streetball players that adjusted to the nba game, kyrie,jr,lance, the crawford bros, nate, nick young, jennings, telfair is probably the last streetball player taking in the lottery that couldnt adjust to the nba game

So in your opinion star players shouldn't pass except to other star players?

Why are you so in love with basketball selfishness

Im just saying playing with a player like kyrie you have to know how to get your own shot, hes just not that type of pg

But if Kyrie wants to take the next step he needs to learn to make his teammates better.  Can't become a superstar and carry a franchise without that.  Especially as a PG.  And he has time to learn, dude is young.  He just needs a coach to drill it into him.

Thing about all the streetball type players you mentioned is that every single one underachieved based on their talent level because they couldn't learn to play basketball the right way.  It's sad, really.  If Kyrie can't elevate past that he'll be a huge disappointment.

Was gilbert arenas not a franchise player? He was basically a bigger version of kyrie & strictly a scorer at the pg position, the difference with him was that he had help

Gilbert's 4th year as a pro, he and the Wizards had 45 wins, which was followed by 4 straight years of playoff berths.

This was supposed to be a huge year for the Cavs. Still time for them to turn it around, but there were playoff aspirations.

Raps under .500 and still at the top
If they get homecourt in the playoffs :pimp:
   The Atlantic is so sad...

Plus that would knock the Raps out of the lottery.

This might be the greatest tanking competition of all time.  If you aren't in the .300 range you gonna make the playoffs.
Meanwhile in the west.... ...:smh:

If the Wolves are one game out and with a winning record while the East has 3 teams with non winning records....MAN!

Gilbert had jamison& butler, nobody on the cavs are better than them two during their time with gilbert, & you wanna talk about ball hog gilbert was the definition of yolo on the court

Who Gilbert played with has NOTHING to do with Kyrie and the Cavs sputtering out of the gate so far. Like I said before, there were high expectations for this team going into this season.

Jason Kidd...

Dude may never find work again after this is over...

Hey Varejo is one of the best big man defenders and hustle men in the league. They also have Bynum back somewhat, so it's not like Cleveland has scrubs. Like, I've never seen Cleveland run a pick and roll. Kyrie doesnt even have a sense of how to feed the post. No one remembers how Jason Kidd took that Nets team to the finals twice. If u know how to get ur teammates the ball in spots they can score in, it makes a world of difference.

The Nets were dumb for hiring a head coach with no experience. Does that even make sense, you wanna win a chip with a coach who doesn't know how to coach? If the tables were turned and he was LFrank's assistant, this would have worked out so much better

In the revolving door NBA? He will be fine.

And dudes Stop talking about verejao being good. That goes against the "lebrons cavs teams were the worst teams in history" narrative.

mark jackson never coached and he's doing well. then again, his first yr was tough.

Uh, the Cavs' teams James played on weren't all that great, certainly not enough to legit challenge for a title. Andy wasn't the player he was today while playing with LeBron. The best teammate James had as a Cav was Mo Williams. Not too shabby, but again, not enough.

James was saddled with players all past their primes (Hughes, Wally, Jamison, Shaq etc. etc.)

You make no sense, Whats the difference if the tables were turned? Lawrence frank is basically the head coach, hes just not the one standing up on the sidelines
