Andre was cooking last night. I can see him improving even more next season.
Dude is only 20 and is already in the top 10 centers in the league. Maybe even top 5.

Shump had every reason to be pissed. That was some lazy b-ball by Melo. :smh:

Can't believe dude was benched :smh: He certainly deserves better.

Shump was benched for the rest of the game after that lmao.

Thy must not raise voice to Melo in thee presence of Michael Woodson.

Woodson just sitting there doing nothing, and Melo throwing his hands up like he didn't know why Shump was pissed.

Shump deserves better. Woodson treating this guy like **** for no good reason. :smh:

Small forwards with no limited handle and questionable first step?

Harrison Barnes and Rudy Gay.

Who love shooting mid range jump shots and not getting to the freethrow line?

Harrison Barnes and Rudy Gay.

Both thought of as a shooter but when you dig into the numbers they shoot below average from everywhere on the court.

Barnes shooting last year.

3 to <10 ft.340
10 to <16 ft.253
16 ft to <3-pt.337

Can't get to the basket consistently at the 3 means you have to play them at the 4 sacrificing rim protection and post defense?

Harrison Barnes and Rudy Gay.

complete non passers, with poor court vision?

Harrison Barnes and Rudy Gay.

Harrison Barnes has become ridiculously overrated after a ****** rookie season and a couple good playoff games as a small ball 4. He's an good athlete with an NBA body who can finish at the rim and make a corner 3, he's me more prospect than player right now and the obstacles preventing him from being an above average NBA player. ie scoring instincts/footwork/first step are way larger than people realize.

he's barley average now.
Again, you did not explain how Barnes is so much wretchedly worse than Gay. You can call Barnes overrated all you want, that still doesn't explain why you think Barnes is like a worse version of Rudy ******g Gay. Do you realize how bad Rudy Gay is? Do you realize how inefficient he is?

Barnes has a much better grasp of his abilities than Gay does and Barnes knows his role. Barnes' IQ is arguably much better than Gay's therefore he won't try to force things like Gay often does.

If you put Barnes in Gay's role, I'd be much more comfortable with Barnes chucking up shots than Gay.

You're completely taking this overrating of Barnes to an unnecessary extreme. If you're going to throw shots at Barnes, use anyone but Rudy ******g Gay as your comparison.

there's no leadership on that team. woodson doesnt seem like the guy that will discipline melo or get in his face. vets like kidd, kurt, camby are gone. and i thought brooklyn was the more disappointing team

It's like D'Antoni with Dwight last year. Side with him in everything so he stays. Give him a long leash and basically encourage his childish behavior.

difference between rudy and harrison, is rudy is paid like a superstar and is expected to play like one and that is not what he is suited. any talented player can get you points if you have the green light. harrison is a role player in his second year and probably like the 5th option on the team

Wes Mathews is the heart and soul of this blazer team. Dude just gets it done in every aspect of the game. I hope we keep him around for a long time

Yes that is apparent, but for Osh to sit there and try to discredit Barnes to the extent that as an overall player, Barnes is a "homeless man's Rudy Gay". I mean, how far off base of a comparison can you get than that? If you're going to say someone's overrated, cool. That's probably a little true, but not like anyone considers Barnes a max level player or anything close to that so I don't know what Osh is trying to prove with that statement anyway.

I posted during the game last night that I'm fan of his. Does a lot of things well and always plays hard. Seems to like big moments too. He's a great piece for that team.

I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the Pacers-Blazers game today. The Batum-PG match-up should be a good one.

Paul George :x

I was one of the guys on board of the Paul George train prior to the draft. He proved me wrong this year that he could literally take his game to another level. He's probably my favorite player in the NBA right now.

I was pissed when the Clippers drafted Aminu over Paul George, who they were also looking at for that draft. I've been able to get over by telling myself that, if we'd drafted, he either would have been traded to New Orleans or we wouldn't have gotten CP at all. Still, I had a feeling he was going to be really good. But he's exceeded even my expectations.
