PG24 coming for Durant's No.2 spot.

Best PG in the game? Not quite yet. But give John Wall and the resurgent Wiz this much: Wall is one of only five players in history to average at least 16 points, eight assists and four rebounds through the first 200 games of his pro career ... joining The Big O, Magic, Damon Stoudamire and CP3. Paul George :x

I was one of the guys on board of the Paul George train prior to the draft. He proved me wrong this year that he could literally take his game to another level. He's probably my favorite player in the NBA right now.

I was pissed when the Clippers drafted Aminu over Paul George, who they were also looking at for that draft. I've been able to get over by telling myself that, if we'd drafted, he either would have been traded to New Orleans or we wouldn't have gotten CP at all. Still, I had a feeling he was going to be really good. But he's exceeded even my expectations.

i remember watching that draft and saying that there's no way the clippers were skipping over the hometown kid. and then they did :x

if the clippers didn't trade their pick for mo williams (which turned out to be the #1) and draft PG.

they could be running a core of

kyrie
george
griffin

:x

PG has always had the star athleticism and the moves, but this year he made the mental leap. Funny, I would've figured Kyrie would do it before PG.

Woodson just sitting there doing nothing, and Melo throwing his hands up like he didn't know why Shump was pissed.

Shump deserves better. Woodson treating this guy like **** for no good reason. :smh:
Shump ****** his daughter.

Shump had every reason to be pissed. That was some lazy b-ball by Melo. :smh:

Can't believe dude was benched :smh: He certainly deserves better.

The irony of that word and Melo in the same sentence, but much like the pickup baller who is out of shape, they have all the energy in the world on offense, but when it comes to playing defense all of a sudden they are tired. Describes Melo exactly. When they had the all star warm up jackets last year and Melo had one honor on his jacket compared to everyone else who had too many to list. (Wade, Bron, Kobe) Dudes should have learned then you can't build around this one dimensional black hole, who is never in shape.

In thinking about it...is there another top 10-15 player who's been chewed out in a TO or on the court by a younger role player? I don't think I've ever seen that happen.

I think Wiggins will be a TMac type of player... Kansas is pretty deep so he really doesn't have to have the ball in his hands very much. In the league he will get the green light and should flourish

That HS game against Randle where he took over/dominated has me convinced... he's like a DWade type that needs some doubt/hate for motivation

T Mac?! :wow: :wow: :wow:

Wiggins...Tmac kind of player?

Remember when the entire Knicks fanbase wanted Tyson Chandler gone after he had a tough, like, one month last year (probably mostly because of injuries/fatigue), even though he was always clearly the second-best (and maybe most important) player on the team?

This is what you wanted?

This x 100. It took the Knicks falling to 3rd worst in the league defensively for people to realize how much of an impact he makes when healthy.

And another thing, it wasn't too long ago when the majority of Knick fans were acting like it was all D'Antoni's fault and Woodson was the savior. I hope this vindicates Mike D to some extent.

That Knicks team just isn't put together well. The players they have have talent, but they don't mesh well and they don't make winning plays when it matters most. Winning plays doesn't necessarily mean that they make bonehead or dumb plays, but they just aren't winning ones. i.e. Getting to the free throw line or at the basket instead of shooting a contested 22 footer, or creating something for others.

Plus, their best player is probably suited to be D Wade to somebody's lebron James rather than him actually being Lebron James. (If that makes any sense) Melo would be awesome in a situation where he isn't asked to be the #1 option, and be responsible for everyone on their team's success.

mike d is actually a good coach.

look at what hes done with the lakers so far. their record is pretty good for a team in the western conference without a superstar.

carmelo just sucks.

i dont have a problem with melo being the # 1 offensive option (not many people you would take over him when talking just offense)

but he needs to be on a team with another superstar to lead both him and the other players (cp3, kobe, lebron, ect)

You guys see the video of Shumpert yelling at Carmelo about his defense during the timeout?

Woodson proceeded to bench Shumpert for most of the game.

Knicks just need to start playing uptempo, they dont execute plays and nobody on the team knows how to move without the ball besides THjr

Shump was on his way back in the game to guard tyreke but THjr was hot & hes not gonna bench his son earl in crunch time
