Bashing?

Because I predict them to fail come playoff time? Like they haven't made me right, every, single, year, ever?

Let me guess, Duck verbiage? "It's different this year". *ok*

Like I said, they've been great to start the year. No doubt.

So how long until dudes start having PG > KD arguments..
laugh.gif
If pg gets a ring first is it really laughable?
Not saying it's right or wrong.. just saying, we all know it's coming
this happened earlier today

aaannnnndddd it's happening again now

Yeah but they won 1 game
True but every game was down to the wire and OKC were horrible rotations and were getting ate alive from battier, chalmers, and mike miller. Oh and James Harden decided to no show in that series and Perkins shouldn't have shown up at all

As someone who has never seen Cousins or Drummond play but owns them in multiple leagues, who is the better player? I just know they put up huge numbers for mediocre teams

Honestly i'll take drummond because he has room to improve, i dont think cousins can get any better than he already is, but cousins is a better overall player right now

Yes he can. for 1 thing, if he can just stay out of foul trouble so that he can play 36-38 minutes a night his numbers would be a lot better.

right now he averages only 30mpg. while guys with similar numbers like Griffin and Aldridge for example are in the 36 to 38mpg range.

his Per/36min stats this season are 25.6pts 11.8reb, and per/40min is 28.4ppg 13.2rpg. so you get the idea,  just im finding a way to stayon the floor longer would make him a lot better player.

he can also improve on his shot selection, and also his patience when in the paint surrounded by defenders. he has a tendancy to rush contested shots trying to draw a foul and misses or gets blocked a lot. although  he is showing improvement this year in that regard, but he can continue to improve without a doubt.

Drummond has more potential, but right now he's a very very glorified (saintly, even) hustle player. He doesn't have much of an offensive game, most of his points come off lobs or putbacks. Now you think about a hustle player who is capable of a 30-20 game, that lets you know how much potential Drummond has at age 20. But he hasn't even scratched the surface yet. Also his FT shooting (30%) makes him a liability in late game situations

Cousins is becoming a legit #1 option you can build around. That's a guy who can go to work on anybody in the 4th q when you need a bucket. Dude roasted Bogut the other day

Lmao at the boogie bat call pick.

My man MO Gotti showing out on the Blazers. Close to 5apg in 25mins. And dudes in here were saying that was a bad pickup. Smh.

Last year the Blazers had, statistically, one of the worst bench's in league history. They completely overhauled it in the off season. And I knew the bat signal was up and CP would swoop in here with his blazer bashing. Listen man, you might be able to get Greg Odens autograph now that he's more humble and playing for the Heat

LaMarcus Aldridge can score on the low block vs anyone- he's proving it tonight vs the best D in the NBA. Separates him from Love & Griffin

not sure if anyone posted this in here, but i thought it was a cool perspective

Yep. was a really great angle of Russell Westbrook smacking Jermaine O'Neal's arm, causing the game clinching rebound to squirt out of his hands.

Blake Griffin needs to develop a post game

You hear this a lot, but rarely is actual data brought in to the conversation.

According to My Synergy Sports, a service that breaks down and tracks every play type, Griffin scored .88 points per play out of the post last year. Post-up opportunities comprised 35 percent of his offense. How does that compare to some of the league’s best post scorers?

Blake Griffin: .88 PPP, 35% post-ups
Kevin Love: .85 PPP, 24.9% post-ups
LaMarcus Aldridge: .94 PPP, 33.7% post-ups
DeMarcus Cousins: .81 PPP, 24.9% post-ups

Very rarely do you hear anyone harp on Love, Aldridge or Cousins about needing to develop their post skills, but Griffin was a more prolific and more efficient scorer than everyone except for Aldridge last season.

Does he always make it look pretty down there? Certainly not, but saying that Griffin isn’t a good post scorer flies directly in the face of the facts.

When Griffin can’t dunk and play in transition, he can’t be effective

Griffin’s mid-range game is a work in progress, for sure. Still, here’s a list of players with at least 25 made field goals that Griffin is shooting a better percentage than from 10-22 feet:

Marc Gasol, Kevin Martin, Carmelo Anthony, Bradley Beal, Gordon Hayward.

Just when i thought the East was coming up, BK & NYK aren't playing well, D Rose is out again.

Lakers are 12th place on the West and would be tied for 3rd spot in the East:x
Minnesota is 13th place and would be 4th place on the East.

west - 2 bad teams

east - 2 good teams
