Wait...is that really the same fan from the LeBron video? Looks like it to me.

So glad to see Monta and Calderon in a winning situation finally. Also happy to see Blair finally getting consistent minutes and not buried in Pop's doghouse for unidentified reasons.

The Sixers were 3/16 on 3 pointers tonight. 18%.......how does that even happen?

I honestly had a VERY hard time remembering the last time the Mavs had won at the buzzer. I know Dirk had hit some game-winners, but not buzzer beating game-winners.

I knew there was this one, but it doesn't really count since it was in the pre-season. Regardless, it was pretty cool.

I had to look pretty deep to find one, but I did. It might be the most recent one prior to the Monta one tonight.

Been a while. |I

Meanwhile, Derek Fisher, Kevin Durant, LMA, and probably seventy other guys have hit buzzer beaters against us.

EDIT: Actually, it was a Milwaukee game VS Mbah a Moute,

I need to re-watch the game, but something wasn't quite right with Vince Carter tonight. He was poor as usual, but his body language just hasn't seemed right last few games. I don't know if his name has been thrown around in trade rumors, or if he wants out, but even after Monta hit the game-winner, he was stone-faced the entire time afterwards. Went to congratulate him, but everyone is smiling EXCEPT him. Kind of odd.

Both of his hands were in his pocket tho. Can you blame Blake from back pedalling with the quickness?

His reaction was still pretty funny nonetheless

My bad he/she was holding on to his/her shirt. Blake Griffin you little ****

Man Cancels Wedding To Watch Kobe’s Return

A San Diego couple were set to exchange wedding vows this Sunday after months of preparation until it was abruptly canceled, and they have Kobe Bryant to blame.

According to reports, 28 year old Simon Bradley, a self-described ‘obsessed’ Laker fan decided to post-pone his wedding so he can attend Kobe Bryant’s highly anticipated return to the court from a torn Achilles this Sunday at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The man promised his finance Melissa they will set a future date, but we’re going to assume it will be after the season.

The couple, who were set to wed at the Banquet Hall inside the Marina Village inconvenienced about 60 guests.

Lakers host the Toronto Raptors Sunday at Staples Center, the game will be nationally televised on NBA-TV. - See more at: http://forums.realgm.com/boards/vie...37d117d9629b3c9c2c146ebf#sthash.8zsBm2aT.dpuf

Carter-Williams hospitalized with bacterial infection; no timetable for his return

Michael Carter-Williams, a front-runner for NBA rookie of the year, is spending his third consecutive night at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday with a skin infection on the front of his right knee, according to the Philadelphia 76ers.

The infection is bacterial and “under control now,” according to a source close to the situation. Doctors are “narrowing down which one,” the source said. The 6-5 point guard is under the care of Sixers team physician Dr. Brian Sennett and infectious disease specialist Dr. Neil Fishman.

There is no timetable for his return.

“It’s a right knee infection that really is just being monitored closely, but nothing to really get too overly concerned with,” Sixers coach Brett Brown said.

Carter-Williams will miss his second consecutive game Saturday against the Denver Nuggets at the Wells Fargo Center and is officially listed as day-to-day.

Carter-Williams, the 11th overall pick out of Syracuse in the 2013 NBA draft, previously said he injured his knee when knocking into a player sometime during Sunday’s loss at the Detroit Pistons, but that collision apparently further exacerbated an existing condition.

“It’s a little bit of combination of the bump and the infection,” Brown said.

Carter-Williams was named the NBA Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month on Tuesday, becoming the first Sixer to earn the award since Allen Iverson in April 1997, then recorded the first triple double of his career in a 126-125 double-overtime victory against the Orlando Magic at the Wells Fargo Center.

“It was pretty painful. It’s real sore,” Carter-Williams said after the game. “It started to stiffen up on me as the game went on.”

Carter-Williams leads all rookies by averaging 17.7 points, 5.8 rebounds, 7.3 assists, an NBA-high 3.1 steals and 36.7 minutes in 15 games.

He missed four games earlier this season with a bruised arch in his left foot.

“When you looked at it during the overtime [against Orlando], you realized there was something going on a little bit more than a sore knee,” Brown said. “But at this stage, he’s in good hands.”
