Beal iso'd on the left wing drove hard and blew right past beno for a layup.

6 secs left. The Knicks have timeouts but choose not to take them, throw it into Melo, he jogs up the floor with the ball with like 6 secs left, then hoist a 30 foot runner that doesn't come close
That's freaking weird

Someone want to break down this game ending Knicks play for those who missed it?

Sounds like I should've switched to MSG.

Beal drove in for a wide open layup to put the Wiz up 1 with 6 seconds left, there was no help defense whatsoever, then Woodson didn't call a TO and advance the ball, they inbounded it and Melo slowly walked the ball up the court and took a terrible running three.

Pistons beating the Pacers in Indiana :pimp:

Hibbert with 4 rebounds

Elite center my *** with that ****, that doesn't even make sense, the man played 35 minutes and Drummond had 9 in 20.

Trey Burke surprising me and I was pretty high on him but I didn't expect him to be this good immediately

I mean you gotta laugh...  That's one of the worst plays I've ever seen

It's not.  It's real.

Mike D'antoni just wants to be coaching a talentless team with no stars to run his system  ...  I almost feel bad for him.  He needs to go to the Jazz or something.

ALL of their PGs are injured. You expect that D'Antoni system to work with no PG? Nash, Farmar and Blake are injured. Kobe coming off a serious injury is the only option at point. IDK how you can blame that on Kobe. Or even MDA.

I don't.  That's not what I was saying at all.

I like MDA's system.  I just think it was working well with the young guys before Kobe came back, similar to how it worked with the Knicks young guys before the big trade.  He hasn't been the most flexible at working in those type of stars.

I do question if Kobe will be able to fit in when the PGs come back.

Farmar and Blake especially were balling, Blake was getting like 10 assists a night right before he got hurt

He won't. LAL isn't winning throwing the ball to Kobe and letting him Cook like last year. He can't do that anymore. (At least thus far)

He also is a turnover machine when he tries to compensate for his lack of scoring prowless, so he can't play the point.

And he isn't a dynamo spot up shooter or an athletic wing that can fill the lanes like the young guys were doing before Kobe came back.

So far, and this isn't meant to be me jumping on Kobe, but he does more harm than good. Ironically, he isn't shooting as much and is still playing hero ball with all his homerun pass attempts.

Yeah, what I meant was that D'antoni could have been the perfect coach if the Lakers were going to rebuild around their young players going forward.  But bringing Kobe back really confuses the situation and the system that was in place.

Yo you didn't tell me your boy had a sister who was a dimepiece. Tall glass of half and half milk

Kobe is a dictator, if he wants to go out and play hero ball, nobody in that orginization will say a damn thing.

Lakers were so fun to watch early in the season though, it was like they were playing pickup ball

Pistons with an impressive win in Indy tonight, after beating Miami in South Beach a couple of weeks ago.

from what i have seen we have been playing decent offense with kobe back, its mostly our lack of defense which is mostly PFs dominating us. Offensively kobe is looking to distribute too much when he is at his best when constantly attacking the defense rather than playing passive. While kobe has been playing way below average and for most people at least that's expected, farmar and blake were arguably the two most important guys on the team before kobe's return and losing them has hurt is a lot.

ideally once farmar gets back next week he will take some pressure off of kobe while also running the offense with the bench guys so that we can stop using sacre at the top of the key as the focal point of our offense. Even with both farmar and blake healthy i expected kobe's return to clot the ball movement as he tries to figure out how to score and distribute in the new flow of the offense. The good thing about this year is that we are "rebuilding" so allowing kobe to play himself into game shape at the cost of a few wins is fine as it will be better for us in the long run (maybe we will even get a decent draft pick out of it)
