Melo isn't a leader?

If you don't like the dude just say it, just because his game isn't all around amazing like Bron Bron or Prime Kobe and he currently has the furthest thing from an efficient #2 option doesn't mean he's lacking in the "leader" category, not to mention dude doesn't look for the easy way out or give half *** effort when he's not getting the ball on a possession to possession basis like the majority of your idols... miss me with that "doesn't know how to improve as a leader" garbage.

he's better than fisher

He's certainly gotten off to a faster start than fisher did but I'd say peak fisher (first three rings through his stay with Utah through his last two rings with the lakers) is nothing to blink at. Chalmers hasn't reached that quite yet

Always been a fan of Melo, get this guy a solid PF that can rebound/play defense consistently and doesn't need the ball to be effective an it'd do wonders to his game, the only thing that truly pisses me off when watching Melo is those easy buckets around the rim he misses damn near every game... he usually gets his own board and still finds a way to miss that joint, granted he's usually getting fouled like a ***** and rarely gets the call but you get my drift.

Why are Courtney Lee and Brandon Bass buns?

Omer Asik has value, but not valuable to us if he doesn't want to play. A decent 4 who can shoot + the perimeter defender we've been looking for. Not to mention, we can still trade those guys after we get them.

I cant speak for anyone else but I think he needs to get it done as well especially now that he's a situation where theres really no reason they shouldnt make a deep playoff run

his lack of playoff success doesnt take away from him being the best pg in the league tho
