can't help but feel bad for BKN. No draft picks (ATL unprotected pick 2014, 2015) and it looks like they'll end up with one of the worst records in the L, enough to maybe get top 3 pick. That puts Atlanta in a great position to end up with a really good talent (Randle, Wiggins, Parker) :x
Very unfortunate for Brooklyn, but as an Atlanta resident I'm happy that I may get the opportunity to watch Bari/Randle/Wiggins in person for 41 times a year if I want. I'd buy season tickets if Brooklyn continues to stink it up.

If any of those guys end up in Atlanta then it proves that there is no basketball god. Unless somehow it will cause them to pick up and move the team and leave all the franchise records behind to rot so its like that hellhole of a franchise never existed.

I was just posting because he said he hasn't seen the rumor anywhere.

But yeah we need to basically rob someone blind with Asik or Lin. It would be nice to keep asik so when we play the spurs, blazers, grizzlies,

That wheel idea would make things even more unbalanced than it already is in the nba. Imagine you're the next top college player...the orders are pretty much set for 30yrs and you see Utah or the bobcats have the top pick but next yr the lakers or heat get it...dudes will just use that to pick their destination. Like the yr a small market team that struggles gets a top pick watch all the top prospects "decide to continue their studies and stay in school".

That lottery wheel system is never going to happen. that means college kids could basically pick where they want to go because they know where every team is picking every year. Wiggins would stay in school if the bucks had the first pick this year and the Lakers had it next year...

This argument is always funny to me, like all ppl think the same ...you got dudes in college/ the league that just want to get to the NBA and get money/buckets, not sit in class any longer than they have to....Only certain players come into the league thinking bout what team or market they want to play in....you think a dude like Mike Beasley woulda really picked staying in school at K State over playing for the Bobcats ?

The last lockout was owners complaining about the edge of the big market teams and not being able to compete... so now your response is to give big market teams an even better opportunity to win and grow and taking away the ability of a small market team to build a solid team through the draft.

Could've said the same thing about San Antonio before '99. All it takes it an elite coach & player combo to completely change a franchise's trajectory.

Budenholzer has been great. Has Atlanta top 10 in both offensive & defensive efficiency. They just need the transcendent player.

Obviously everyone is different but you're kidding yourself if you dont think kids would wait if they knew the order

There's a 0% chance the Nets end up with one of the worst records in the league. PERIOD.

The teams been radically different since Deron and Pierce came back. and Lawrence Frank got fired. :smh:

Eh, with Lopez out, if old pp or kg miss a stretch of games or Williams gets hurt like he usually does they could fall into a bad hole.

Some will wait, i just think ppl over estimate the amount of kids that will tho imo....

Isn't the point of the actual draft lottery itself supposed to discourage tanking? How about decrease the weights of the order? Or even eliminate the weights so that every non playoff team has an equal chance at the 1st pick?

Then tanking would extend to playoff teams. Why be an 8 seed and get swept when you can be a 9 seed and have the same odds as everyone else for the top pick?

Clippers forward Matt Barnes has been fined $25,000 for failing to leave the court in a timely manner upon his ejection vs Wolves on Sunday.
Man wth??? :x

I'm not a Clips or Matt Barnes fan but I was watching the game.. the flagrant foul was ABSOLUTE BS but when they ejected him he walked out right away? Dude didn't argue or anything, he was escorted out by the Clippers staff

This is what we've come to. The league is trying to bury dude for using the N-word in that tweet. Plain and simple
