I personally think that the Bulls, Knicks, Lakers and Nets don't deserve to play on Christmas Day

NBA had these teams scheduled for XMas since the offseason. Just do what I'm doing. Grey goose, cranberry juice, and enjoy the games.

Oh I'll definitely be watching and enjoying like always but I just think there are teams more deserving than these teams. Nets and Knicks in particular have been really disappointing. I hope Deng is back for the Bulls though but he's doubtful

what teams specifically ?

you gotta remember -- for the networks its more about what teams have the biggest fan bases , not necessarily showcasing the best teams

Not surprised by the reaction to the Heat voicing their displeasure about playing on the road on Christmas.

normally im not for generic responses to the media but in this situation you just say something like "its a honour being able to carry on the tradition of playing on christmas day" and keep it moving

send a letter to the league asking to change it next year rather than making it public

Merry Christmas y'all!! My gift to you guys will be Carmelo leaving for free agency, dawning the purple and yellow, and continuing to be the clock-chewing, 1 star jacket-wearing, most playoff losing star in history :D :pimp: :pimp:

Pardon them for actually wanting to be at their actual homes with their family for Christmas instead of being across the country.

Pardon me. let me play the worlds smallest violen for them.

The reaoning being used is they should be home because they are two time champs not any of that sentimental ****.

ESPN trolling the masses with their coverage today -- Wilbon away from home who has stated many times he HATES working on Christmas Day, doing the Nets and then the Knicks game. VanGundy and Tirico in L.A. on the beach in casual wear doing the pregame stuff, to show the rest of the country how nice it is in L.A. Can't wait for the games today...

"Heat guard Dwyane Wade raised the topic during a business presentation Silver made to the team. Wade, who has two boys, said he understood it’s necessary to play on Christmas but questioned why the champions were not at home."

“If you ask any player, we’d rather be home with our families. ... It’s definitely one of those days that you wish you could wake up in the morning with the kids and open up presents.” - LBJ

these schedules weren't made last week you dopes.

ain't no one forcing you to watch tv today. stop crying

"The schedule I got said that we are on the road for christmas and turkey day. I think I received a bad copy"

-Shane battier

Yeah. That doesn't scream entitled jerk. He's been complaining for a while. That attitude is a perceived insult. That the champs are persecuted and insulted by playing away. U can pull whatever quote talking about the kids. They are upset because they feel slighted.

Yeah, albeit it'd make total sense for the reigning Champs to play at home, it all boils down to one thing; money. Staples tickets and the Hollywood bright lights > Miami and its south beach. With all the celebs and rich folks that want to be seen that attend LA games the prices are substantially inflated and not to mention the Lakers are one of most popular franchises. I understand where Wade and Battier are coming from. I'd be perturbed as a champion that I have to travel and play the accompanying role instead of the host on marquee matchup.

they should have went with lakers vs boston and miami vs indiana

lakers boston and knicks bulls should happen every christmas
