3rd time Blake been on TNT this season and is straight showing out. Been doing it all year. Don't say **** else about his lack of game Charles Barkley. Don't say **** else.

I'll just wait for CP to show up.

I got to see my team win four championships, I cant ask for more as a fan. I got to see Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobli, and Tony Parker play basketball and will tell my kids about that. Gregg Poppovich is a top 5 coach ever in my book and hes a Spur until death.

I love the hell out of my basketball team, anyone who dons that jersey is basically a family member.

Every single EC team since Jordans last three peat Bulls (besides the big 3 Celtics) have been the weaker team going into the finals.

no, to try and argue that they are the best organization in the NBA in the past 15 years is laughable

the blazers, kings, celtics, suns all put up way more of a fight than the spurs did

its also funny when people compare pop to phil, the difference between phil and pop is about the same as the difference between pop and dantoni. not even close
You guys beat em 4 out of 7 times in the last 15 years in the playoffs. Don't forget to mention that miracle 0.4 second D Fish shot that turned one of the series in the Lakers favor. I might be off a series or two off but I wouldn't call 4 out of 7 a cake walk.

So who do you believe has been 2nd best in the NBA after the Lakers? Detroit? Dallas? Miami?
we're talking about kobe/phil lead teams vs pop/duncan

a highschool jv team could have beaten our team last year with nash and kobe out and dwight planning to leave on the offseason

if we're going to bring up non phil coached teams we might as well just throw all the series in there and say the score is 8-4

out of all our rivalries with various west coast teams over the past decade the spurs have been the biggest cake walk by far

We went over this before, Phil is great but I believe he's never coached without a first All-NBA selection and most of the time, he coached 2 or 3 All NBA players at a time

Who do you consider, as a coach, that is good? And out of those coaches, who hasn't coached All NBA talent?

PJ is the greatest coach in NBA history. He's phenomenal. He's the only coach to me who actually has an offense and a system. It's rare that you see him resort to typical pick and roll basketball that virtually every other coach for the past 20 years has resorted to. He almost always strips down his teams because he knows the value of having a mastermind. (The teams that he inherited in LA both times were more talented than the teams he won with) He then always has his players in the best possible positions for them to succeed, there by allowing them to maximize their talents. (I.E. you'll never see sasha vucaic playing pick and roll or having to make a play) His teams almost never get knocked off balance not only because of his demeanor, but because every single thing that the defense can do goes right into some sort of action from the triangle.

I absolutely love phil. GOAT.

okc was better than miami?

I meant to say since the Heat. Bulls, Celtics, Heat. Besides that the West usually straight dominates.

Hence, agreeing that 5 of Kobes/Shaqs championships were against much weaker competition. So you cant bring up the Spurs and not bring up the Lakers.

Ugh. This game is killing me. Every time the Clips get right there, Portland goes on a run.

the competition has always been in the west, and the spurs have only won during la's down years while the lakers have man handled them when at the top of their game.

phil's had good teams but he's also always gotten the most out of his teams every year in the playoffs, other than the two rebuilding years when it was pretty much just kobe carrying the team in 06-07 every phil jackson team has either won the championship or lost to the team that made the finals and/or won the championship.
thats 20 years of basketball, phil jackson's contenders have never lost to a team that has failed to make the finals

the spurs on the otherhand have lost to lower seeds in the first round twice in the past 5 years. they had a free title last year but pop didnt put duncan in to get that rebound and pretty much threw the game and series.

phil is 18 wins 8 losses and 4-1 in series vs pop

Again Phil coached a first team All-NBA player every year of his 20 year NBA career

Do you realize that means coaching one of the top 5 players in the NBA.....EVERY YEAR

4 years, he coached 2 first team All-NBA players

That's a huge advantage over every other NBA coach all time
