I say this a lot, but when I discuss sports, I take it back to just a bunch of dudes playing football or basketball or whatever on HS fields/courts on the weekends, no refs or crowds or cameras.

You're going left, I do a move that... CROSSES the direction you're going... and you stumble or hesitate or ******* trip on the 3-pt line or your shoe has too much traction or whatever... you're getting clowned for a couple seconds, because you got crossed.

Ain't nobody gonna be out there like "Nah, he didn't get him. He just lost his footing. C'mon, guys, stop with all the OOOOOOHs and AAAAHHHHs; he just lost his footing."

His feet were stuck to the floor, because he was committing to what he THOUGHT Rose was going to do... then Rose DIDN'T do what Dre thought Rose would do, and Rose CROSSED... OVER... the path Dre expected him to take... and Dre fell.

Because of the crossing over in direction.
