Thunder will be facing Blazers, Rockets, and Miami without Russ.

They play Miami twice in the time he's expected to be gone.

I hope OKC wins simply to add some further evidence that Durant is still the second best player in the world.

Anyone care to chime in on Westbrook? Should we be concerned about this or is it nothing major
I'm concerned. This is the 2nd unexpected surgery. The 1st one was for swelling caused by the loose stitch. There are no details as to what has caused this swelling.

After the 1st unexpected one, they said his meniscus had healed fine. I hope that's still the case.

I think there's probably some cause for concern. I know he's been ballin', but there was probably a reason why he wasn't supposed to play the first 4-6 weeks of the season.

The first game after the all star break is 27 games from now. So they probably won't have HCA against San Antonio, and possibly Portland if they continue to nail those long jumpers.

Not that it matters, OKC is capable of taking 1 of the first 2 games. But just an observation.

Going online now: ESPN sources say Knicks owner James Dolan told his players Thursday no trades or changes to coaching staff are forthcoming

I hope OKC loses simply to add some further evidence that Westbrook is indeed a superstar, and that Durant or not, the Thunder are nothing without Russy.

Ohhh cant wait for Durant trying to play like Bron

Russ tho.. Was it because he came back early? Not sure his actual injury timetable anyway

Damb, if there's folks still trying to figure out that Westbrook is a superstar, I'm not sure I'd want to have a discussion about anything with them.
