I hope OKC loses simply to add some further evidence that Westbrook is indeed a superstar, and that Durant or not, the Thunder are nothing without Russy.
Damb, if there's folks still trying to figure out that Westbrook is a superstar, I'm not sure I'd want to have a discussion about anything with them.
There are still plenty of people that think that Russy shoots too much or that he limits the player that Durant would be.  You would think last year's playoffs would be all the evidence that is needed, but it wasnt for some.

Those who had their doubts were shown the light last time Westbrook went down. Fortunately, I haven't heard a lot of those silly complaints that "Russ is holding KD back" or "the Thunder need a true PG and not Russ" as much this season.

I'm more upset that Russ is going to miss more games than overly concerned about his future. It's obviously not a good thing he needs surgery again, but I'm optimistic.

I believe Westbrook has definitely matured his shot selection, I think that was a more than fair criticism prior to this season. Westbrook definitely could have made his team even better had he honed in his propensity to take ill-advised shots. However, shot selection comes with experience and time, so I wouldn't have expected him to be refined in that sense so early in his career.

I take exception to your comment that "the Thunder would be nothing without Westbrook". That's an obvious point. You take the second best player off any team and they will be nothing, or they will for sure not be contenders. So that really doesn't say anything.

Damn I hate being away from sports news most of the day just to come here and see this bad news about Russ :x

Cant wait to see lebron play point center and klove demonstrate his excellent post positioning skills

If cp3 continues his play, he will have another 20/10 season :pimp:

Gives it his all every night, and if it says All Star Break he's the type to try and make it before the All Star game, no sitting out, but he shouldn't rush it.

:smh: Just want a seson where guys have little injuries here and there but not like what we've been seeing what past 5 years. Why can't we get the best of the best playing?
