so raptors are 9-3 since Rudy Gay trade.......

His offensive ability isn't in question, his defense and effort are.
His offensive ability has never been in question, his decision making this season deserves some question though. Not saying he isn't a great player either. Parsons isn't making those comments up out of nowhere.

So far its been a good trade for both teams, rare in the NBA.
Wouldn't say it's necessarily a good trade for the Kings. They're stuck with Gay for another year and his contributions won't lead them that much further than they would go without him. Instead of just letting the other players cook, Gay is randomly there as your veteran leadership guy. Not sure he's really needed in that Kings rebuild. Good news is they can trade him as an expiring contract.

There's no question that the front office wants the Raptors to tank, but the players and the coach aren't having it and personally, I dont wanna see them lose either.

Saw it with my own eyes Friday night.

Watched the scrappy Toronto Raptors erase a 19-point deficit in Dallas, come all the way back to beat a Western Conference team with a gaudy home record, then had to listen to a defiant Raptors staffer issue a challenge outside the visitors locker room.

"You go in there," said the Raptor in question, "and tell those guys they should be tanking."

Good luck.

They're not listening to me or you or anyone else who wants to talk about Andrew Wiggins.

:smh:  if miami wins this year wade needs to give his ring to lebron

out of miami's 7 losses this season

4 have been games that wade has taken off for "general soreness"

1 was the game where wade throws a ball off the backboard with .6 seconds left and jeff green hits the 3 over lebron

and 1 was his no show at indiana

straight up bum :smh:
Nah. You're conveniently forgetting the games in the playoffs where he stepped up to help his team win and advance due to the rest he got earlier. He'll do it again this year due to him taking breaks during the season like Pop does for his Spurs core.
Career lows for KG in FG%, PPG, APG, SPG, BPG.

Second lowest career numbers in average RPG. 6.9 to 6.3.
Damn reminds me of the season before Shaq retired, granted injuries played a larger role.

Having an expiring is always a good trade chip.

They'll get Wiggins after his rookie deal is up regardless, he's said that on multiple occasions. Works out better for them because he'll be better by then and they can add more pieces in the mean time.

Masai :pimp:

Guy makes great moves, knew getting rid of Gay would be beneficial

Literally nobody else on the Kings were cooking outside of Cousins and Thomas. We kinda need a player like Gay to cook.

Also KG one of my favorite players of all time but he's done, time to ride into the sunset Big Ticket

So with KG being washed and PP34 not too far behind, can we all agree that rondo was the best player on those teams for the past 3 seasons

Wiggins is good, but Parker is much much better at this point. Don't get me wrong they're both really good players but if I had to choose between Wiggins and Parker I'd most definitely go with Parker.

Cook as in get as many touches as possible and also playing time. Not saying Gay is being a cancer to the Kings but I am saying they definitely don't need Gay at all. Gay does not make the Kings that much better, as I was saying.

I agree but I ultimately believe Wiggins will be the better player, ceiling is higher.

As great as Bari is, there is only so much he can get better at meanwhile Wiggins is good but can improve in so many areas and is a world class athlete.
