IMO

I feel like he still has a ways to go before hitting his full potential.

Right now he's playing off natural talent and instinct (hence the dumb mistakes).

Once he lets the game slow down and come to him, he will be

Joe Johnson doesn't do any of that in the playoffs. He completely disappears. Fake clutch guy.

Scott Brooks has one of the most talented and youthful rosters in the ENTIRE association,

and he played the AARP guys EXTENSIVE minutes tonight.

"Unacceptable" isn't the word for this loss.

There isn't a word in the English language that can accurately describe how inept Scott Brooks is.

There is really no excuse for them to lose to Brooklyn at home. Even without Westbrook.

Absolutely not, but at one point this dude had Sefolosha, Perkins,and Fisher in the game together. Offensive rating for that lineup... 68. KD is clearly burning out after the 3rd quarters too which combined with the fact defenses adjust to just flat doubling him off or on the ball makes it that much more crucial you have a lineup with other competent offensive players with him and don't give Perk 32 minutes. KD has to stop carnig so much about his stats too, only tookk 14 shots IIRC. A KD contested "bad" shot > a good look by everybody else.

These last two games were in hand,

and he just killed the team's chances with his bonehead rotations.

I'd rather see Rex out there at the helm.

He may have got in his own head after he took 26 shots (plus 12 free throws so really 30+ shots) vs. against POR & they lost. I'd just say **** it & play like that every game.

His performance against the Spurs could be considered a statement game. A game against the friggin Sixers.. lol, not so much

Oh I've watched plenty of cousins. Actually I'm a fan of boogie. And he's made huge strides this year. But he really is one of the worst defenders at the Center position. Seriously. The stats and eye test back that up.

It was injuries way more than SVG and besides it was Ewing getting Dwight to dominate on defense anyway.

Say what you want about Dwight, but he has never been on a bad team (minus his rookie year).

If Cousins is truly a dominant center, he should be able to carry any team to at least a .500 record. Right now he doesn't anchor the paint, he gives up as many points as he scores which is a big reason why the Kings are so bad. Center version of Harden.


I will say this though, if Sacramento could get Embiid and move Cousins to the 4 (his true position imo) he would rank very high among PFs. As a PF he would definitely be ahead of Blake, and behind only Love and maybe Aldridge.
