Cp3 is a perfect number one if he has a reliable scorer, melo fits the bill.


The trade makes perfect sense to me.

Carmelos about to be 30 though, Blake Griffin is 24. Gotta think long term with this, especially when even with Melo I dont think the Clips get good enough to where they can beat out the likes of San Antonio or OKC conistently

IMO that's long term thinking for making money for multiple seasons, not for winning. Clips can keep Blake the next 6 years but in that time he is never going to be anywhere near a prime Melo.

Of course I'm assuming if they get Melo they'd make other moves to sure up defense and big men but I don't see why NY would make that deal AT ALL. Aint nobody building a team around Blake Griffin.

blake has to be the next karl malone if the clips are serious about winning a chip. to me, he has to be able to dominate every night at his position. the kid has all the talent and physical tools. remember, he is still 24 years young. with that being said, if the clips want to win now, melo would be a great fit.

And as far as this contraction talk goes, the NBA will never be the NFL where every season there's a chance for previously bad team to make the playoffs and possibly win it all.

But if there's a way to get Melo without giving up Blake, then I'll listen.

It would just be really cool to see Agent Zero come back home to LA and cook, he could probably put up like 20 a game if he's allowed to go lone wolf out there.
