Nah, Melo is our version of Clyde Drexler.
Yes, he got Portland to the chip, the West was kinda watered down that year, but people didn't start to appreciate his game until he went to Houston.
I think if Melo gets on a team where he doesn't have to be the man, similar to Clyde, he'll start to get the appreciation he deserves.

Thats still our only "Big" sans Timmy. Boris Diaw and Jeff Ayers arent really true "put him on the block and let him bang bro" bigs. Andrew Bynum could do that, if only for a while.

I seriously doubt that he's going to last past his first 10 day contract. They just needed a body in the short term, while they figure out longer term moves. Probably won't see the court while he's in LA except in a blow out like last night.
