he can be the goat as long as his body holds up
impossible.  Indiana is the next dynasty.

Lance: MJ

PG24: Scottie Pippen

George Hill: Steve Kerr

David West: Charles Oakley

Roy Hibbert: Luc Longley

its obvious if you think really hard about it

The only comparison you got right was the Oakley one

I don't really find LeBron that entertaining to watch either, but that's definitely subjective...  Some people seem to love it.
I agree with you, but I will give reason as to why i don't find Lebron entertaining so much.

MJ and Kobe had a very skilled game, especially later on in their careers. It's a lot more entertaining to watch those two move on the basketball court and create points for themselves than watching LeBron bulldoze his way to the rim and either get fouled or dunk the ball.

Lebrons game is ridiculously efficient and vicious, but it's just not fun to watch. At least that's how I feel about it.
I'm so glad im not the only one who feels this way

dude is a beast on the court, but boring as hell

Jump shooting is more entertaining period. if we're talking about the most entertaining player in the league, the answer is Wardell Stephen Curry II

Im waiting for kevin bacon to fall off a cliff in that spike lee pic. Are the knicks a white water rafting team now? Wheres rod belding to make sense of all this?

why doesnt durant have a huge diehard fanbase? like everyone likes durant and enjoys watching him play but i dont know of anyone that is a diehard durant fan. if you look at the kobe is overrated thread of pray for the heat to lose in the playoffs threads you will see an army of irrational kobe/lebron fans and irrational kobe/lebron haters, not sure why durant doesnt have that. he just isnt as polarizing as lebron kobe jordan magic and bird. imo it has to do with playing in a small market and playing with westbrook who is a dominant personality. we need to find an acboyz for kevin durant

He does things very few others ever have or will do outside of athletic ability. He's borderline genius in his place of the framework of his team on both ends of the floor. Most players just don't make the reads that he does as a facilitator, at spacing or as a help defender.

His game facing up and having counters may not be as aesthetically pleasing as other smaller, wiry scorers but that's personal preference I guess. I actually watching him play off the ball on both ends, there's not many other guys I get that with.

LeBron has the best FG% of his career, and is tying his best 3pt% of his career.

"Can't really say that about 2013-2014 lebron"

Ever thought maybe you're the one that changed, and basketball doesn't excite you like it did when you were a kid? Honest question.
thats all great for heat fans and the team but its lebron getting 25-35 points on 50% shooting every night, then you get a few fastbreak allyoops. theres no what if he had one of the best games of his career factor because i know he wont he's just going to go out get his points/rebounds/assists and most of the time win without much effort. again its great for the heat, great for not burning out during the season but for a spectator its really boring.

same as kd, hes going to be the best player in the league in <5 years but from a fan spectator standpoint hes not that memorable to watch. there are special nights in the nba where everyone remembers where they are when ___ did ______, things like kobe's 81 point game, lebron's 50 pt triple double vs the knicks, curry going for 54 points vs the knicks, westbrooks game winner vs the warriors. im sure older fans will still have a good memory of MJ's double nickle or birds 60 point game. i spent a while thinking last night and i cant think of a single moment like that for durant, like not a single game that stands out to me and im sure he will have games like that in his career but watching him i never feel like hes going to come out and try to kill the other team, just last night he had 14 points in the first and ended with 30, thats pretty much what i expect when it comes to durant.

again if you're a heat or thunder fan its great, these guys are some of the greatest players in the history of the nba but as a spectator watching heat games and thunder games without westbrook is just boring for me.
you sound like a lame B

and I'm a heat hater

this.

although lillard is also great

pretty much any great player that likes to take stupid heat check shots

because i can control whether a player is exciting for me or not..

sit down kid

You can show highlights all you want, but have you ever seen or compared those Lebron highlights to MJ or Kobe?

It's much more entertaining to watch excellent footwork and skill transition into scoring than just using pure athletic ability.

We actually had a discussion about this in the office today, most people agree.

Here's what I'm talking about:

I mean, Lebron just doesn't move the same way as those two did. Yes, Lebron is fast, strong, quick and an absolute dominant NBA player, but he's not as entertaining to watch. After awhile, seeing him "freight train" his way to the rim and get fouled or do the same dunk gets boring.

its also that if people double lebron he will kick it to a 3pt shooter which is a good basketball play, if people double kobe he will try to score on them anyways which is more entertaining

i enjoy watching zbo more than blake griffin but blake is the better player

Right, Scoring. If that's what you want to be entertained by, then no, LeBron is not going to be your cup of tea.

I agree.
I rather watch steph or lillard over miami and indiana. And lance made indy fun to watch imo and sometime pg. Miami were more fun when it was jus wade back in the day and Cleveland lebron was more fun than miami lebron.

If I was blessed to be 6'9 solid 2** lbs 40 inch vertical and wide receiver speed no doubt in my mind I could put my head down n truck to the basket. But to watch mike/kobe destroy defenders with their footwork and hit impossible fade away jumpers is more exciting to me

people in here like:

saying anything bad about the chosen god lebron

to each his own. i'm far more entertained by efficient basketball. same dudes in here who kill carmelo for chucking jumpers are slurping kobe for doing it over a double team

I love dunks and i love watching people who can shoot the rock. and i refuse to get into this LeBron Jordan debate.

but i will say that right now one of the most exciting players for me personally to watch is Steph Curry when he is on fire.

i'm glad the Warriors have turned things around after they were hovering around .500 for so long, because i want to be able to watch a lot of Curry in the Playoffs this year. i hope we get to see them knock out LAC and then play OKC.
