Some notable guys who got it totally removed and havent stayed healthy are D Wade and Metta, they are more but thats just off the top of my head

The Chinese have a famous saying on where one should live (and die): 生在苏州,活在杭州,吃在广州,死在柳州 (be born in Suzhou, live in Hangzhou, eat in Guangzhou, die in Liuzhou). That final city, Liuzhou, is famous for producing China's finest coffins.

How fitting, then, that this city in Guangxi  is the setting for the most depressing photograph of a former NBA All-Star seen in quite some time—the ghost of Steve Francis, courtesy of the website Got 'Em Sports:

Yes, that is really Francis—college All-American at the University of Maryland, 1999-2000 NBA Rookie of the Year and three-time All-Star (2002 to 2004).

Those days of glory may seem like they happened a lifetime ago, but keep in mind: Francis is only 36 years old. According to Basketball Reference, 16 players of at least 36 years of age are playing in the NBA in 2013-14.

But Francis hasn't played a game in the league since crashing out with the Houston Rockets  in 2007-08. He hasn't played anywhere  on Earth since being cut by a Chinese Basketball Association team after just 13 days, 14 minutes played and two points scored, per Yahoo! Sports.

Francis is still known in China for his relationship to former Rockets teammate (and Chinese basketball legend) Yao Ming, and he can still earn appearance fees at small events in China, such as the one in the Twitter photo above—the Jan. 5 opening ceremonies of the Liuzhou  weekend league.

Francis headlined a group including former NBA players Renaldo Balkman, Dwayne Jones and D-Leaguer Paul Harris. The Liuzhou  Basketball Club website  refers to Francis as "Yao Ming's American big brother."

Francis' Chinese reception in Liuzhou, though warm, is a far cry from what his former backcourt mate Stephon Marbury experiences when he goes to China. Like Francis, Marbury left the NBA with the reputation as a selfish, over-the-hill scorer.

But Marbury thrived in China, winning a championship with the Beijing Ducks. He is so popular in the country that the fans overrode a CBA  rule forbidding foreigners from winning league MVP in an online  vote, according to China Daily.

In nine seasons, Francis averaged 18.1 points, 5.6 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game.

What was up with LBJ tonight. mean mugging refs, acting hard on that one play after the foul, and now snitchin on AK after the game. :smh:

i like how when he puffed up on that dude that fouled him, he stepped back and waited for his teammates to hold him back and then started going after him again
that **** was so pathetic last night......bosnia dude just stood there and looked at him like "try me"

How else do you let someone know you're not happy with a foul without punching them in the face? James held his own teammates back to say I got this, dont do anything stupid, im just giving him a piece of my mind. I highly doubt LeBron needs the Cole Train to have his back.

lebron steps to a guy who tackled him and he's fake tough. he walks away and he's a *****. what would you do in that situation?

growing up in poverty doesn't make you neither tough or soft. has nothing to do with anything

lebron went at teletovic then paused.

his teammates got in front of lebron and then lebron went at teletovic with a new found vigor

nothing was stopping him from fully going at him if he wanted to the first opportunity he had, so why all the theatrics?

he got the benefit of the doubt from the refs by shooting two free throws AND getting the ball back

So why is buddy on the nets considered tough because he grew up in a hard situation. Makes no sense.
whoever said that might be able to answer that question

alli saw was that teletovic didn't back down and smirked at lebron's antics

dude was theatrical last night. it's not "hate." everyone saw it.

this didn't happen at all

Pause it at 7-8 second mark. Hes extending his arm telling Norris Cole to back off. Then Lebron gets dragged away. If anyone's acting tough its Norris Cole because hes hiding behind Lebron chirping.

It's some legit role players in the league, see Indiana see spurs etc that's what I'm talking about. Miamis role players are garbage.

Yet Miami Role players are half of the reason why they have won 2 out of the last 3 championships.
Stay mad bro.
The same role players that help BEAT the spurs and the pacts last year.... But they are garbage....ok

Unless lilyo06 has some constant hate towards the heat that im unaware of he seems to be just stating an observation. The stay mad bro comment is unnecessary and is the reason people dont like the heat. For the record Lebron is the reason they have won 2 of the last 3 championships.

Basketball players don't fight on the court by and large. That's a known fact. They know not to do anything because they'll be fined/suspended.

Did you not see the word HALF in my post?
Was it not Chalmers in game 4 who gave the thunder that WORK in the NBA finals in 2012?
Was it not Miller who hit 7 three pointers in a row in game 5 of the NBA finals in 2012?
Was it not Ray Allen that hit a 3 to tie the game in game 6 of the NBA finals in2013?

Yea everyone is gunna say Lebron is the main reason but lebron can't beat a whole TEAM by himself.
Ima say it again.....STAY MAD!
And after the Heat 3 peat again, I hope y'all stay mad AGAIN!

I didn't like LeBron's antics last night either, but let's be honest, like Barkley has said many times, nobody in the NBA really wants to fight. They know as soon as someone swings it's getting broken up. So, anytime guys run up on eachother or go chest to chest, it's posturing. Some dudes are just more convincing with it than others

Growing up broke don't make u tough (lebron) and growing up rich don't make u soft. It's alot of ****** I know who I look at like fools doing 10 years and they grew up in the burbs. And every body from the hood know the lebrons ain't have to be hard wasn't nobody messing wit the meal ticket. They leave the athletes alone if anything he was protected n got passes.... As he do wit the refs

And another thing, why so much salt for Wade taking games off? The heat and Spo are smart for sitting during the season so that he is fresh for the play offs. That's the smart thing to do. These regular season games don't mean a thing especially playing teams that won't even make it last the first Rnd, but are all hype for joy when Miami comes to play in their arena.
