I'm just glad that the guy is finally plaing up to par. When he first got the contract I was in total support of it, I thought he was a top tier SF, then he went into that horrible slump and I gave up on dude. Hes making a lot of people eat their words right now and I know he has to feel good about it.

all my fantasy temas have Rudy :pimp:

i def noticed

I just...I can't get involved in this again.

We understand

Some people's opinion will never change about a player no matter what they do. Rudy could go on to finish his career playing the same way he's been playing in Sacramento and I would not expect your opinion to change.

Players do change their ways, though. There is one on our team now named Zach Randolph. We got him for Q-Rich and this guy has led us to places that the Grizz have never been before. A lot of times, a player just needs a change of scenery, the right supporting cast and maturity.

Rudy Gay only thriving because he's not the guy in Sac

Boogie is the real reason the Kings have hope, but Gay has been a great #2 so far not going to take anything away from him

Also Lowry is one of the most beloved players in this thread

Y'all dudes love undersized guards

thing about wiggins is that even if he reaches his potential he still will be 3rd best behind KD and bron.

Bron is 11 years older than Wiggins. Bron will be nearing 40 years old when Wiggins reaches his prime. If you don't think a prime wiggins will be better than an old *** Lebron then yea, you probably shouldn't draft him.

Wiggin will NOT be that good or close to it

screenshot and what not, i fail to see this hype around him. been saying it since day one

I havent been saying this since day but this is true, yall still swear the league gonna be his in 5 years?

He doesnt take over at the college level at the NBA he will go ghost, he is athletic and quick but 85% of the league is like that

As great as Gay as been playing with the Kings, I ain't down to see him get paid $19-20mil as an option 1b or 1c on the squad :\

I don't think anyone can justify him being paid that much  . I think $10-12M is much more reasonable for him going forward, though. At least that's what he should've got back in 2010.

Ben mac gotta take that next level like brad beal for the kings to be a playoff team, hes the most important piece of the kings future, hes looking like a real mediocre shooter right now for a player that was being compared to ray allen, the white ben gordon is taking his minutes, ben mac = bust potential

Wiggins athleticism is waay ahead of his skills. When has that ever worked out well?

There was so much hype about him before anybody had actually seen him play. This season I was excited to watch dude take over NCAA, so I sit down to watch a couple Kansas games and I'm like this is Andrew Wiggins? Are you serious, the guy can't even dribble. He is a great athlete though, I'll give him that

Embiid is easily the better prospect, like it's not even close. Any GM who picks Wiggins over this dude is on drugs:

I'd say the Toronto stint is worth bringing up since they went from being one of the worst teams in the league with him to one of the best since they dumped him.

To be fair, the Kings have improved since the trade, too, but not nearly as much.
to be fair, the Kings aren't playing eastern conference teams every night like Toronto is, so its not really fair to just compare record to record. and the trade caused a bigger disruption to the Kings lineup than it did to the Raptors lineup so they need time to gel

also, they have won 5 of their last 8 games, 3 of those wins against Miami, Houston, and Portland

Everyone be sure tune into the Boogie MVP show on fan night later on.
I'm interested to see how Cousins does against Hibbert this season now that he is playing a different style than he has in the past.

Hibbert is the type of Center that could really take DMC out of his game so we will see what happens. i guarantee he will start the game out shooting jumpers to pull Roy away from the hoop, and if he knocks them down he will then start blowing by him off the dribble. if he can't hit jumpers tonight it might be a bad game for him

Players can change that's fine but that's not the point,

the point was that Rudy Gay, the player he was before this miraculous 15 game transformation, was overrated, overpaid and an overall negative influence on a basketball team, the subsequent performance of the Grizzlies post Gay trade, the performance of Rudy with the Raptors and the performance of the raptors post trade has proven me to be UNASSAILABLY AND INESCAPABLY CORRECT.

The fact that he's played well for 15 games doesn't change the fact that he was dog **** for almost 3 years.

He was an incredibly overrated and overpaid player, who didn't contribute towards winning, if being traded 3 times has CHANGED him, well that doesn't make my pre change analysis invalid.
