Jimmy Butler is just a good defender. He'll never be a liable offensive weapon. He just another Tony Allen.
Another ignorant response. If you watched him last year you would not be saying this uninformed garbage.

Nets are a ??? cause its a new built team, As KG said before you better "RESPECT his craft" saying that only make me believe he is ready to ball for a long time. If the Truth and KG stay injury free its a plus for the Nets. J Kidd was a coach on the court like P.Manning is a coach on the field i hope no one will question P.Manning once he step to the side line. We can't forget how Kidd took the NETS twice to the final just balling out there freely. You wasn't so wrong to say D.Will was better then CP3 think about it once got shipped to the Nets playing on the bum team set him back...Watch the wicked cross over with a J will be back......

You don't think guys like Vogel/Thibs/Spoelstra will have an advantage over him in the playoffs? I don't doubt that he's smart but that doesn't mean he'll translate into a good coach. Hell, Magic was a coach for the Lakers and see what he did with that squad. With a stacked team like that I'm sure it'll mask his deficiencies but his inexperience will show way one or another in the playoffs.

i think people are underestimating how hard it is to win a championship  99/03/05/07 isn't a bad case for dynasty :rolleyes

If you guys say so, I would call a team that was in the title race every year for the last 14 years (I'm going to loosely define title race here by calling it making the playoffs, because that alone technically gives you a chance at the title) the highest winning percentage in pro sports, etc etc. I consider them a dynasty, no fan bias.

So now the Spurs werent a dynasty becuase we didnt three peat?

Are you ************* kidding me?
 the @ feature. Batsignal for CP

I'm saying though, but I will let everyone continue with their lofty standards. I got to see my team win 4 chips I'm a happy fan.

So, you're a dynasty when you can't even repeat as Western Conference Champs ONE time, while another team in your same conference can win 3 straight, knock you out of the playoffs 3 times in 4 years?

So, are the 90's Knicks a Dynasty too? Maybe the 80's Jazz, they made the playoffs every year. :smh:

Would you call the Jim Kelly Bills a dynasty too? :rolleyes

At least for this it will be everyone vs antidope antidope so this will end quickly and then the bickering over Rose/Bulls will probably start up again

You guys really are arguing the meaning of a completely made up word retrofitted for the context basketball.

Who ever people think of a dynasty is a dynasty, there are no rules.

The majority of people think of the spurs and lakers as a dynasty, so they are regardless of CP says, and nobody thinks non championship winners are, no matter what anyone says.

Also, I'm taking names of who is posting in here...

Lets see who is still vested in this season in the middle of March.

And lets see who is back when playoffs start

Furthermore, where is @JapanAir21??? I seriously miss that dude

97% of these goofies will dissolve by that time...they are just here to say stupid stuff & attempt to rustle jimmies

I'm not sleeping on Rose right now, as a PG real talk doesn't he really move the ball and set people up its a personal hightlight on ESPN...lol

Oh so because I'm saying I like and respect Rose that automatically makes me someone who just watches ESPN highlights and has no basketball knowledge? Lol.
What you said is irrelevant to what I posted about. I didn't say that he's a great distributor. I just think he's better than Monta so I don't see the comparisons. I also didn't even say that he's the best PG in the league.

Just said that some of you guys aren't giving him the credit. Dunno why there's so much hate on him right now. But you can go back on your high horse

the irony in dudes post attempting to call someone else a highlight watcher & you turn around & say rose doesnt distribute the rock to anyone its just a personal highlight

stright pot calling the kettle black...you clearly only watch yt or espn highlights that dont show him dishing it around... hes not cp3 but hes also not a sticky handed jump shot jacker your attempting to make him

My last post in this thread til Chi first game and BKN.

I REALLY WISH THIS WAS TRUE....OH WELL

Brooklyn is going to score A LOT of points but I don't think they can defend any elite team. They have no athletes at all in that starting lineup and the only good on ball defender is KG. They're going to get killed in transition against every west coast team, The Heat, The Bulls and Indy who all have way more athletes and better defense.

But do people really care about the Kobeless Lakers?

Its actually kind of weird. This is the least I've heard the Lakers talked about before a season since the post-Magic, pre-Van Excel/Eddie Jones years.

an extremly valid & solid point that, that only brooklyn fan is overlooking while saying they will take #1 in the east
