I must be the only non-Clipper fan who likes Ralph Lawler. He is better than the pure trash with vocal chords in a lot of these cities. He's better play-by-play than the Lakers have had for 10+ years now

I've never been to Portland, but Ive always heard good things about it.

I've never been to Cleveland.

@JasonLloydABJ #Cavs staying over tonight. No flight to catch, so players are back on court. Portland people shocked. Said they've never seen it before
you know cleveland is bad when they would rather stay the night in portland
portland aint even bad... plenty of strip clubs, lots of breweries, and good green... not crazy packed clubs... but downtown and bad..

Wait so are they practicing? Or just sleeping over.

Also the Reggie at pine state biscuits>>>>
they are staying in portland for the night so they have time to put some shots off after the game

hopefully its actually a players only meeting to sign a petition to fire mike brown

Interesting stat I just came across--Lebron James only has 5 double-double's this year. Only 5.

SF's with the most double-doubles are Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony with 14 for the year.

It amazes me how Durant can have way more than LeBron. Not surprised with Melo though. He's been hounding the boards this year--averaging around 9 RPG.

i thought kd was always a better rebounder than lebron

and isnt miami the worst rebounding team in the league?

Weird did you see how many triple doubles he has? If he has any, but in Lebrons defense dude was dealing with that bad back which hurt his rebounding in the beginning of the year

I feel like Melo always has that sequence where he drives and misses 5 straight shots but gets every offensive board

Logically, you'd think LeBron is the better rebounder, just because of his physical size. Also, he'd have more opportunities for the offensive board as well.

I understand Miami is the worst rebounding team in the league, but Lebron is averaging 6 rebounds a game. I always thought he was around 8-9 RPG. Shocked he only has 5 double-doubles this year. Also, important to note--The Knicks are the 29 worst rebounding team. Only team worse is Miami.

Lebron has 0 triple-doubles this year. I'm sure he's come close plenty of times though. He averages close to 7 assist per game as well. But it's still surprising to see how many double-doubles he's had for the year so far.

Melo averages 2.3 offensive rebounds a game. He does miss a lot of layups, but most of the time he's fouled and doesn't get the call. His rebounding is def. under appreciated around the league.

Lance Stephenson has the most triple-doubles in the league--With 3 so far.

at the sf position not many players are crashing the boards so being longer and taller is better than being stronger. Its like how mcw and rondo are some of the best rebounding pgs. A wing player isnt going to be battling for rebounds in the paint, they rely on length to get to the ball before everyone else.

Of course instinct and effort are also big factors too

I don't agree with you, because you see guys like Lance Stephenson, Ricky Rubio, Gordon Hayward, Iman Shumpert crashing the boards every night. Also, look at Jason Kidd's rebounding numbers during his career. He wasn't "lengthy" at all, but he averaged close to 8 RPG some seasons he's played.

Additionally, look at Giannis Antetokounmpo. He's listed at 6'10" and averages close to 5 RPG. While Iman Shumpert who is listed at 6'5" averaging more RPG than "The Greek Freak".

Rebounding is more about effort than it is about height. Charles Barkley and Dennis Rodman are note worthy examples of that.
