mj had 30 50 point games....

how many kobe got?

EDIT: Kobe got 26 :pimp:

Kobe has 26 (1 in the playoffs).

MJ had 39 (8 in the playoffs).

KD has 3... Gilbert Arenas had 3... EDIT: Tracy McGrady had 4 (since they were mentioned earlier).
bron has 9

iverson 14

wade 3

damn the bulls were trash in the 80s MJ scored 52 on 24/29 shooting (82.8%) and they still lost by 13

Vince Carter had 3 as well. Not that 50 point games are how players' careers are judged... but still, just putting Durant into perspective.

Can't get over Karl Malone doing 61 on 26 shots before.

61 points (21-28, 19-23)
18 rebounds
2 assists
3 steals

In 33 minutes...

The Jazz beat a 24-18 Bucks team by 48 points (144-96).

...

Crazy just how much more isolation-based offenses are these days. I thought 37 team assists in that game was impressive.

The most team assists in the data range (since 1985) is 52. Of the top 100 occurrences, only five have happened since 2000.

they are not a big factor in legacy but they do count for something when it comes to fan entertainment value

antawan has as many as dirk (2) and more than duncan (1)

Since Westbrook went down, Kevin Durant is averaging OH MY GOD WHAT IS HE DOING TO THE BODIES OF THE VICTIMS?! points per game.

Kevin Durant has scored 92 points in 48 hours and won 2 games against playoff teams in that time, all w/o his All Star PG. #MVP #ThunderUp

KD was great vs the Warriors tonight

I wish the Warriors hit more free throws tonight so the game couldve been closer so KD could have scored 60 points

KD was super aggressive on the court tonight......I loved it!

What does Kevin Durant do after dropping a career-high 54? Walks to the shower singing the Sesame Street theme song.

KD on MVP talk: "That's premature, man. It's still early in the season. I try not to think about that type of stuff."

Not sure if this was posted but don't understand how a team with an nba player could lose. It's not like Luke is in his 40s

over 50% of the nation (espn poll) thinks lebron is leaving this offseason :nerd:

I don't know why, but I don't see Lebron leaving Miami.

It's Cleveland or nothing. But I can definitely see him leaving Miami, it's not like he can't come back and go live in MIA as a second home away from home? He's the biggest athlete to ever wear a miami uniform.

I don't see Lebron wanting to start all over somewhere he's never been before dead middle of his prime. Too much going on right at this point in career for him to relocate somewhere with his family being right behind him. So he'll come back here and try to win a few with the young kids on the Cavs squad.

I've called it a for a while now, that he'd come back so his kids can attend SVSM high school. So it has a personal sentiment to it, plus this is home for him. Coming back here and winning would have an unprecedented impact on his legacy.

That would make a lot of stupid-opinionated NTers look even stupider...:nerd:

Depending on your definition of MVP, I define it as the best player in the league based on who is having the best season. So I still have LeBron.

I don't see the point in defining the MVP based off your teammates. Meaning, yeah Aldridge is having a great season, but are you just naming him because he's overachieving with what he has around him?

you also said he would never leave the cavs.. so lets no start calling people stupid..

the only reason lebron would leave miami is because wade is breaking down and he needs a new team to lead to championships

but as of now heat without lebron >>>>> cavs so i dont see why he would go back

that and deng is probably leaving this offseason

Lillard averaging over 20, Wes and Batum around 15. He's not carrying his team single handedly and they arent trash either so I don't see how that applies. More like being dominant and leading his team this year. He should be in MVP discussions but I don't see how he can win it over KD/LBJ/PG.

Stats aside, nobody had the Blazers doing this well this late into the season. So my point was, are people naming Aldridge because the Blazers are overachieving? He certainly isn't having a better season than LeBron nor Durant.
