School excuse was made before he went to Miami, ya know....

Yes I do know, because I was the one who told you guys that. And she didn't leave when he did, they stayed here. She at no point ever wanted to go to Miami, and for the past almost year she's been grumbling about being home. That doesn't mean he'll be back in Cleveland but she certainly likes the lifestyle being home more than Miami. That I know for sure so that's a logical reason for going back

Ricky Rubio hasn't scored in the 4th quarter or OT in over a month

Just sad where he's at. Other than that issue, I feel like he just hasn't looked as spry since the knee injury. Could just be seeing things though.

But nobody wants to play Detroit in the playoffs

Like Chuck says, teams would send out the limo to make sure the Pistons showed up on time to play them.

You could say pretty much the same thing about every team in the conference not named Miami and Indiana due to injuries. I mean, sure, maybe the Wizards or the Nets but really if Miami and Indiana stay relatively healthy, and they don't end up in the conference finals, they should forfeit their season salaries.

I know this will change by the end of the season, but if this were to be the playoffs right now in the East, at least you could say it's something different

man those first round matchups are a freakin joke.

imagine how much better the playoff matchups would be if they just took the top 16 teams from the league....

This real? :wow: :x

Yeah, it's because he's actually been getting benched for Barea/Shved in 4th quarters. It's at the point where Adelman doesn't even want him to be on the floor down the stretch, because he will sabotage any chance they have of generating offense.

If you look at their past few games, JJ Barea has been playing equal or more minutes than Rubio. JJ Barea!!

Recently he's been talking about how he's losing passion for the game

Rubio: "I'm going to be honest. I'm not feeling comfortable out there."
— Jon Krawczynski (@APkrawczynski) January 17, 2014

Rubio: "I'm not being myself and the team is noticing. I just have to be back where I was, be myself. I'm working on that."
— Jon Krawczynski (@APkrawczynski) January 17, 2014

Rubio: "It's basketball. I love it. But I'm just not having as much fun as it used to be."

Tbh going from Barcelona, Spain to Minnesota would be depressing for me too..

No way lebron plays for Gilbert or brown. He's got way too much pride and cavs mgmt is pretty horrible.

More interested to see if bosh and wade opt out and who they are able to re-sign.

Prior to the season, I gave Cle the edge in Lebron going back home...

But as a team, they've been a complete disappointment. At this moment..they've whiffed on Waiters, Kyrie has taken a small step back, Jack has regressed, Bynum was a bust, BUT I won't label Bennett yet as it's much too early.

Taking a paycut to play WITH Lebron, FOR Riley, and IN Miami...that's a hell of a sales pitch to potential free agents.

This might be the year KD wins the MVP

Carrying the thunder with Westbrook out, and with the heat not making too much noise, he's definitely taking home that trophy (barring injury).. .

Ricky lost all confidence, coming off pick and rolls tenative, still some how got an average per, and the offense is 9 POINTS better with him on the court.

Right now he's Jason Williams with plus defense,

also finishinf at the rim, its in his head, he's missing easy shots at the rim, he's not even getting blocked, he's just straight missing layups.

Seems like lebron has been coasting. We'll see when he turns the switch on and Westbrook comes back.
