It seems like MLK Day has lost its purpose in the NBA. I remember when Memphis use to be the main showcase on MLK Day and now its turning into another way for the NBA to show the bigger markets. The only teams that should be featured at home during primetime hours for MLK Day is Memphis and Atlanta. Obviously, MLK's legacy is on full display in both of these cities. I just think its kinda silly to put Memphis on NBATV and most people will not be able to see the halftime and some of the important things about the actually day itself.

They put Memphis on NBATV, the Miami/ATL game not even on TV. I guess its all about the money and less about the legacy.

Agreed, I really thought when the schedule came out that Memphis and Atlanta would get the TNT games. Especially with Miami being in Atlanta very shocking....

Your life is miserable though

The Riff Raff of NT Mods chimes in.

Maybe watching basketball should have nothing to do with how we honor and remember MLK.

:rolleyes

In that case, they should not even mention MLK Day at all during the broadcast or nationally televise the games during the day. OBVIOUSLY, there is a reason why they nationally televise the games.

Victor acts like people can't root and cheer and hope their teams make the Finals or something, life that miserable for ya lil buddy, huh?

Should I PM you the handbook on how to be and stay happy in life?

Really

Crazy how much folks have jumped off the bandwagon for the most part. He was pretty much the most talked about young player last year/coming into this season but he hasn't gotten better at all. Granted the Cavs suck and Mike Brown is a horrible offense coach but still he just hasn't played well from an individual standpoint

Kyrie is in a bad situation, their is no other way to put it, cleveland needs to start over again, they cant take another L with this lottery pick, they need to fire mike brown & get some veteran leadership

I've never seen a coach as clueless and lost as Mike Woodson. There are NTers that could do a better job than this fraud.

It's not nearly as bad of a situation as it looks.

Deng and Varejao are excellent basketball players on a lot of different levels. Thompson is an excellent rebounder/energy type. They have some good shooters.

Brown and the guard rotation just look like they're trying to sabotage the team. It's not a wildly-talented team, but they shouldn't be this bad.

Sidebar: I have been posting about the Cavs way too much lately.

Mike Brown would like to have a word with you.

they look the same too .. just put a stash on Brown

ol Steve Harvey lookin *****.
How do these guys keep getting chances? They literally coach the exact same way they did when they were fired by their previous teams. A good coach would learn and adjust after being canned. These dudes are frauds.

No clue dude. I'm telling ya Browns got some nudies of Mrs. Gilbert or something.

He sucked with Bron
He sucked with Kobe

what the **** did you expect?

I honestly believe these professional sports leagues hire people to run CLE team just to **** with the fans

Can we always remember that LeBron carried a Mike Brown coached team of guys who mostly aren't in the league anymore to the Finals on his back when he was like 22?

Brown still owes Bron about 65% of his salary
