If we're talking about this season, I don't think too many people would disagree with you.

KD is playing the best this season (figured this statement was a no brainer)

my brave statement: KD is the best player in the NBA as of this season and I feel he is currently a better basketball player than Lebron and will continue to be here out. And I in fact believe KD's peak will be higher than Lebron's..whatever we consider that.

people do this everytime there is someone that is arguably the best player in the league

kobe was putting up way bigger scoring numbers in his prime than KD is now but these days most people think that prime lebron > prime kobe. now that kd is scoring a little more with westbrook out he's going to be better than lebron ever was? what KD's doing is great but its not like we have never seen this before, there's a great scorer like him in every generation

I would love to hear the rationale behind that statement. Not even being snarky, this is 100% sincere. LeBrons prime has at least two more years in it.

I want nothing to do with that player A vs B thing.

its funny i just read something about lebron being a better shooter. Lebron's jumper is still as suspect as it was when he came into the league. He went and got 2 FRANCHISE players to mask his weaknesses. how many of yall have nba league pass and watch lebron play a lot? do yall not see him literally passing up open jumpers to only take the ultra wide open jumpers? He's not shooting better, he's just afforded the luxury of onlly shooting with comfortably....UNTIL he gets in the playoffs.


It's funny how people forget the impact this has. Yet we always get a spin on how cerebral he is orchestrating this offense. Sure Lebron's talents are all world as a complete package. Don't let me take away from what he actually does great, because he is a great.

But what about when you get into the playoffs and you're being held by boris diaw and dared to shoot? Sure him driving at will is gonna help him coast to reg season victory. there are a lot of bummy teams in the league. But when you face the juggernauts, it doesnt fly. If he could shoot the rock fluidly, they would have swept the Spurs straight out of the championship. He's just fortunate to have a team built around him.

all the Lebron fanboys gotta fall back though. We will acknowledge he is great, but don't assume guys aren't level-headedly breaking down his game like any other player. Just because he's your chosen one does not mean he is immune from granular critique.

the biggest one which I won't minimize in any fashion is his ability to shoot the ball. I feel like KD has closed the gap in every other facet of the game though and Lebron not being able to shoot hinders him overall as a player. Like Lebron can actually be schemed against (San Antonio, Indiana), but guarding KD, what is your scheme?

and like Bron being big and strong is kinda null when KD is actually getting to the lane more than anyone in the league. KD is now fluidly switching from guarding the perimeter to guarding bigs in the course of the game. and KD's post game is more dangerous. So what does something like size and strength matter when Lebron is trying to be a true point guard passing the ball?

there are stats that show his % from the perimeter is among the best in the league I just don't feel like digging them up. I'm a fan of both players but to be the man you gotta beat the man convincingly in all facets

and im trying to tell yall you just havent seen what KD is capable of as a facilitator. he's an extreme gym rat and student of the game. his awareness is 100, he just hasn't settle into a facilitator role yet. westbrook is super ball dominant and Scott Brooks is an idiot.
