Hibbert is the 4th option on a title contender, he isnt gonna give you 20 & 10 every night because the team doesnt need him to, hes doing his job & will step up when vogel needs him to like in the ecf

exactly why i think noah is more deserving of a spot on the all star team. he is chicagos best player and they are what 8-2 since trading deng?

^^^ I don't think Hibbert would be capable of putting up 20 and 10 on any team, in any situation, but that doesn't take away from how valuable he is defensively. There's no question to me that he should be an all-star in the East.

Every ******* single year you guys get upset at who's starting for the All star, and every single year - nothing changes outside the fact that they're VOTED IN, not chosen by the NBA  it cracks me up everytime someone gets upset about that.

Ya'll know how this works by now..

Roy Hibbert shouldn't be on the all-star team just for the fact that he has 3 rebound games as an 8'5 center playing 30+ minutes

Like he should get at least 7 by accident, it's sad when your backup PG is a better rebounder than your starting center but I digress

Noah should be starting as center. Either him or Hibbert. Kyrie Irving shouldn't be starting. John Wall or Lowry should have a place over him. The Fans should not be able to be involved in the selection of the all star team.

We know man just let us cry

Hibbert is an all star, he's the main defensive cog of the best defense in the league, like why are you people arguing this?

they are 5 points better than the next best defense, do you guys understand how crazy that is?

12 & 8 as a 4th option = 20 & 10 as a 1st or 2nd option

12 & 8 as a 4th option = 20 & 10 as a 1st or 2nd option

Yeah, it doesn't really work like that. Given his size and the lack of other, quality big men throughout the league, if Hibbert was capable of putting up 20 and 10, he wouldn't be the 4th option. If he was that kind of weapon, it would be stupid for the Pacers not to use him that way. But he's not.

yeah im taking about **** that impacts winning, you can keep the 2 extra rebounds, Ill take the guy that basically neutralized the greatest player of our generation for 7 games when he was on the court.

I know better than to argue ASG results.

Against miami he was easily the 2nd option, but if you're one of the best teams in the league that only needs your big man to dominate when you need him to why change up & make him your 2nd option consistently, it doesnt make sense

I don't think the fact he had one good offensive playoff series against a team that matches up terribly against him says he can be a number 1 or 2 option all the time. But that's me. I guess we can agree to disagree.

LMA is just filthy

Portland is going to be a problem in the playoffs, OKC beware
Not scared. At some point, contested long 2s will regress to the mean. And Dame Lillard, is he 1 of the best shooters ever? Because as of now shooting 43%+ on 7 attempts has only been done by 1 other person, Curry.

I'm not expecting a first round exit for Portland or anything like that.. but I really don't believe in them going far.

We'll see how they hold up the rest of the season.

does portland have a bench? i think they will burn out towards the end of the season with the heavy minutes their starters log.

mo ghotti can't do it all

No they do not. CJs progression will be interesting to see during this season, cause he could become that second bench guy and you really only need two "IT GUYS" on your bench, who can do something at a high level, and fill the rest out with whomever in a lot of cases.
