If he were to pass it, he would've had to make a cross court pass that Jackson/Thabo might not have gotten off in time. Mack was playing safety in case he did pass it and could've at least contested IF Durant passed it. ATL got beat on a tough shot by a guy playing out of his mind, they have nothing to be mad about.

This was actually really good defense by the Hawks. But KD knew exactly what he was going to do when he got the ball, and there's really not much you can do to stop that.
If I was Korver I would have straight up left Fisher though, if he hits a gamewininng shot then by all means take that L

Fisher hit a big time 3 earlier in the game though. I don't know man. At the end of the day KD won the game and that can't be discredited by what-ifs
