i gotta assume Lillard will be in there too, especially with how good the Blazers have been this year

if kobe sits out of the starting lineup, do coaches pick the starter? or should it be fair for the next back court player with the highest votes to play? if thats the case, and cp3 decides to sit out...is it fair..that...j...lin..start...?

:nerd:

Fixed, and while it certainly isn't complex, doesn't make stopping Westbrook and Kevin Durant easy. Hell, look what he is doing with even no Westbrook. Last playoffs at full strength beat the Spurs 4 times in a row with 2 simple adjustments, switched all screen and rolls on defense, and on offense added a 1-3 pindown where Russ set the screen for KD to come to the top of the key and it kept forcing Parker to switch onto KD at the high post. And Popovic is typically 100x the coach Brooks is.

Once Reggie gets back to the bench where he belongs, our bench was a #1 scoring bench in the NBA. Lamb, Perry, and them I am not expecting much from outside of maybe home games since it's their first go round, but Reggie Jackson and Nick Collison are going to be ready to go. Nick Collison has the highest +/- and RAPM in the NBA as of last game in fact.

I know how good you guys are lol. But, let's stop acting like you guys have been a huge matchup problem for us over the years. The only times you guys have man handled us were 1) right after the Rudy trade when we were missing pieces and 2) earlier this year when we had a bunch of injuries including Gasol.

Every other game we have won or made it very tough matchup for you guys. Whether y'all are healthy or not. It's always been that way. I expect no different if we matchup this year. That's all I'm saying.

Westbrook's brother and some random newb on the DT board have been hinting he will play tonight and that's what his meeting with his doctor in LA yesterday was about. The newb says a week away. I doubt it though and don't even want him to even if he's capable. He only played 25 games so I don't know if that's enough for a spot, but then with us being #1 and getting our coach in maybe they feel obligated to give us 2. Serge Ibaka could make it but that'd be a "because your team is winning" bid. You have to give the Spurs at least one so TP. People I figure to be left out are like Conley, maybe AD gets in because it's in his city, Cousins- guys not on winning teams.

It's cool bro. I don't dislike Memphis, matter of fact if we meet in the postseason again I'm coming out there although I might drive this time so I can bring the heater with me. I'll be right on Bealle Street with yall getting some BBQ and watching those dudes do backflips. I'm just mad PatBevs ruined everything, threw the whole NBA landscape off kilter for that run, this year, potentially more to come.

It's like everyone thinks Memphis has to score 90+ points to beat people. When your defense can be as good as Memphis, good look scoring over 90 on most nights.

OKC's offense is not the hardest thing in the world to figure out. You can't get mad at Houston for depending on Harden when all OKC is gojng to do is depend on KD and Russy in the half court. A team that has crisp ball movement like SAS and an inside presence to stop our post game makes it hard for Memphis. And this team is much deeper with more shooting than any of the previous teams. Im not saying all of their offensive problems are solved, but it's getting there. One more move and it'll definitely be there.

The Grizz would get swept by OKC if they're healthy...

Your team is not one acquisition away from "being there" either, Z-BO is washed and Conley isn't even a top 3 *point guard in the West bruh.

I really hope a healthy Grizz get another shot at a healthy OKC team because I'm tired of hearing the excuse about last year, especially since the Grizz couldn't use the same excuse in 2011 when they had Sam Young starting instead of Rudy.

At this point, the only team I fear that we cannot beat without making another trade is San Antonio. I'm pretty confident that with our defense heading in the direction it was at last year, better 2 way players on the perimeter and an improved Conley, they can give OKC hell and beat them. But, let's wait til around March/early April and talk about that again.
Johnson is turning into quite the gem.

You make it so easy to hate the city of Memphis.
