You'd have to talk to Scott Brooks.

I know he leads the league in proximal fg% at the rim against in very limited volume of 3 attempts per game guys shoot 35% against him at the rim, a VERY custom stat and also very open to being misleading (because if I'm shooting a shot and the only thing between me and the rim is Perkins, I'm 100% not worried about him blocking it but where is Ibaka and KD? I'm more worried one of them is going to snuff it from behind) . Plus I think anybody playing with a lineup of Westbrook, Sefolosha, Durant, and Ibaka (plays something like 98.9% of his minutes with the starters) id going to have good numbers across the board in terms of +/-, pt differential, ppg against, and any team stat.

All that is why I somewhat detest this overstatted era. You can "prove" anything with the right stat nowadays, even go out of your way to make a point completely antonymous to the eye test and popular opinion, like I was literally arguing with a dude last night about Kevin Martin being clutch, apparently KMart though shoots the 6th highest % over the last 2 seasons of anyone with his amount of attempts in what is defined as clutch moments and was 100% from 3 in a Thunder uniform in such situations. Could've fooled me! I always saw him just hiding in the corner and if you did pass him the ball, he'd pump fake and step out of bounds

BR wrote this about him after the Miami game, which we won 110-80 if you subtract Perk's 5 disasterous minutes http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1942334-the-value-of-swallowing-pride-in-the-nba

Perk brings that Goon Ball mentality that every championship caliber team needs.

You need that....LA...had Ron Artest....

Deshawn Stevenson, UD Haslem, matt barnes, zach randolph, charles oakley, dennis rodman, anthony mason, bill lambeer, joakim noah, carlos boozer, KG, demarcus cousins, stephen jackson

Kendrick from that Ilk....he is a necessity

If you had a team full of blake griffin's....you'd be getting chumped all day....

KD is the good guy...

Russell the bad boy

Kendrick the garbage man
None of these people is a horrible basketball player.

LMAOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I mean, dude was SULKING on the bench last week because he wasn't getting any burn...but the Thunder went on a huge run w/o him in the game...

*They still have the amnesty clause in their back pocket?

Yes, but too cheap to use it since you still have to pay him and then pay for a replacement, although the best move would be to move Serge to center full time and bring either Reggie, Perry, or Lamb into the starting lineup although it hurts your bench some, but lineups with KD at the 4 have been historically efficient at times on both ends. He has 18mil for 2 yrs remaining including this y, therefore next yr will be a 9.5mil expiring next season. I'm pretty convinced he'll be here beyond even this contract, have already gotten myself mentally ready for the "Kendrick Perkins resigns/extend with the Oklahoma City Thunder for 4yrs/10mil" headline next summer.

^UnchartedDrake...you are not a real fan....just admit it..

you can catch a fit all you want...and try to prove yourself...and discredit everyone else.

You became a fan of the Miami Heat in July/August of 2010.....you have no history with the city of Miami....or the Heat.....at all.....you dont know about hardaway....you dont know about alonzo....hell you weren't even riding with them when the refs handed them their chip in 06 with shaq...

before 2010....you probably weren't even a fan of basketball or the NBA....you casually watched it..

you saw the headline run thru espn...in that summer of 2010....there ya go...you bought that Lebron jersey....and yell "Miami Heat Fan 4 Life"

I hope you can follow you favorite player in to the same place when he gets career ending injury also...

Funny how you think you know me....smh. Ive been watching basketball since a youngin when jordan played.
Like i said before, I was a fan of Allen Iverson, T-mac, D-Wade, Lebron.
I was a fan of the Heat the season they won their first Championship, I watched almost EVERY regular season and play off game from them from 04-06.
I don't even have a Lebron jersey, lol smh.

to tell you the truth, I know for a fact, that I am more of basketball ball fan, than you have probably been your whole life. Just seeing the way you're going about things right now tells me this. Just because you might be 35 years old or + doesn't mean you are more of a fan to basketball.
And you know damn well before 2010 I was a fan of lebron and his Cleveland team, but that man needed help (that the cave wouldn't get him), and i was ALL for him going to Miami.

and just like any Bron hater, you wish injury on someone you don't even know.....Wow.....Just wow....look at you...smh. You are dismissed. Go have a seat somewhere.

This man said "I hope you can follow your favorite player in to the same place when he gets career ending injury also...".....And he thinks he's a fan of basketball.....smh WOW!

Okc doesn't need an enforcer when playing the heat though. Perkins shouldn't touch the floor if they get that far i remember collision playing soooooooo much better in the finals against them.

I agree, he is a situational player or a specialist. When the matchups dictate, you call his number. But he shouldn't just be guaranteed minutes just because that's the way it has always been, and Brooks has shown great progress this year in his willingness to limit Perk's minutes (20mpg, still too much) but the Heat game taking him out after Miami took that early 1,000 pt lead (22 actually) in the first 5 minutes and not going back to him ever, even to start the 2nd half like he always does. I'm sure it hurt Brooks to do it more than it hurt Perkins. Also, we should never run plays for him. **** all that "when you give a guy the ball he plays harder," noise. Dude's tov% is historic despite the fact he is only given the ball when he's extra wide open and when we run that play to start the game for him we do sometimes that never works. Might as well just punt the ball into the stands, same result

I like Kendrick (no lamar)...

He brought it to Shaq.....just like Bynum did...

dudes wanna see Kendrick play like Dirk or like Bosh..Kevin Love or something

stop it...that wont happen

when dudes is muscling your team in the paint and you getting bodied on the boards.....with the likes of Roy Hibbert David West and Noah, TAJ Carlos Boozer

who you gonna call? the red head light skinted...the ginger? Quake? is that what they call him now...

nah...you call Mr. Perkins
But Perkins isn't a good rebounder either.

Everybody out there was just dying to flop

Embiid would have high bust potential on the Bucks cause they would expect him to be the savior/THE guy. Philly already has MCW and Noel, the Jazz have Burke, Hayward and Favors, the Cavs have Kyrie...the Bucks need somebody that can be THAT guy. Embiid and Henson would also be the skinniest front court of all time.

What says to you that being "the guy" gives someone higher bust potential?

It makes a player less likely to be a bust because they'll bend over backwards for him and won't mind the team losing while he develops.

The worst thing for a raw high pick is to go to a team that's already good where he has to fight for minutes/is expected to be efficient immediately.

Embiid is far from skinny

blah blah blah blah...more blah....blah on top of that

I could careless....classless or not

follow him in that coffin while your at it too....when he goes

That man singlehandedly destroyed my favorite sport.....turn this into a circus.. (im so nostalgic....90's basketball is second to none)

You got everybody running around to make a MiamI heat 2.0....from Brooklyn to New York....to the lowly Detroit Pistons and Sacramento kings...smh

If this man is soooo great....Why couldn't he do it in Cleveland? Answer that....HE IS THE GREATEST EVER...so by that notion he should of accomplished it on his own and win in Cleveland

If he is sooo great...do it by yourself....You are the greatest man ever born on this planet to dribble a basketball right? is that not the words the youth utters....nowadays

DO IT BY YOURSELF...JUST YOU YES.....Do what iverson couldn't do...

But nah its always..."he needed help...he needs more help"

If that man can play any position on the court.....guard and shut down anyone....score from anywhere on the floor...than that man can single handedly win a chip by himself...
The new troll of the NT.

anthony davis has so bright future ahead of him , bigs like him come out once in a decade pelicans should build around him and holiday and they can go far ....

These kids don't become busts because of the franchise that drafts them and the pressure to perform is high regardless of who picks them.

They are calling embiid the next Hakeem. He could go to the pacers and people would still be expecting dream shakes from him. Embiid or whoever goes #1 will be a bust if the money changes them, they don't have a work ethic, or they aren't as good as projected.

Look at anthony Bennett. He was drafted high on a team that was supposed to compete for a playoff spot. There was already a "superstar" in place. He wasn't supposed to start. But everyone is calling him the WOAT.

I think the worse the team and the lower the expectations and existing talent the better for a top pick.

LeBron, Durant, Carmelo, Wade, all had that room to grow.
